just read an article on espn saying it's surprising we didn't have any interest in schneiderlin, even for the sake of helping lovren out because of how well they did at Southampton. What does everyone else think? i'd love for lucus to be fit the whole season but I'm skeptial due to the injury trouble he's been having lately.

On another note it worrying we don't have many buyers for our players. we could have a huge loss if we don't sell soon the club will sell at prices that will be at huge losses.From what ed002 has said we won't agree terms with lazio for sakho so we're not even close to sell him atm (very upset he's possibly leaving). Going to be very intresting to see how everything plans out.

Any updates on players we are selling eds? Read this site everyday at work so addicted to it. congratulations on your engagement ed001 best of luck mate!

RedTwist

{Ed001's Note - there is nothing new with regards to players leaving mate, I am just glad we are pricing Sakho out of a move, but find it odd we do the same with players we want to get rid of.}

ed001 do clubs ever do a video analysis technique with players? I don't know if it exists but what I mean is that for example say Ibe there's obviously players who have been established in his position surely watching a video watching how the best do it is the best way to learn?

I mean your critical analysis of players is absolutely spot on and yet the same mistakes get repeated yet it's not hard to change! I mean if you had an average group of players who knew exactly where to be and where to move they would outclass most teams in my opinion.

Just want to say this is an awesome page mate I live in Essex and on the way home when I was reading this site someone else was reading it opposite me and we both had a massive chat for ages.

RedTwist

{Ed001's Note - the clubs all run video analysis these days, but it is only as good as the analyst and their ability to explain and make players understand. I know our analysis under Rodgers was terrible, which did not help him at all, to be fair, as they could not even understand opposition tactics etc. It is an area the club need to look at, the right analysts can not win games on their own, but they can provide the information needed to the players and coaching staff to win games. It is still a fairly new technique, so the quality of the analysis and teachings based on it are extremely variable at the moment.

What is particularly worrying is the simple things to fix are not being fixed, when a quick video analysis should highlight these problems very clearly for the player/s involved. Such as Moreno's tendency to charge up field too early.}

Exactly what I mean when I said, nothing has changed. Klopp has come in that's it. Everything else remains the same.

2.) 14 Feb 2016 10:14:27
Thanks for the reply mate interesting stuff. I completely agree it's just baffelling as to why these errors are not getting sorted! ed001 you need to apply to become liverpools new analyst you would do a much better job although the site wouldn't be the same. I think ed002 would abandon us as well lol.

Hem to be fair it has changed under Klopp we have more attacking intent and more freedom. People forget we have had one of the worst keepers in the league as well as strikers that are either injured or just having a bad run (that's being nice) .

{Ed001's Note - I would still find time to look after the site, I would be lost without it now!}

3.) 14 Feb 2016 10:22:03
Peter Krawitz does the video analysis for Klopp. He was Klopp's analyst at Mainz and BVB too so he must be ok.

{Ed002's Note - How do you conclude "so he must be ok" from his working at Dortmund? Particularly given that Liverpool are far from their best right now. Additionally I would not discard Michael Edwards from the discussion.}

4.) 14 Feb 2016 11:05:28
On the basis that Dortmund did ok. Liverpool have been average for years so harsh to have an opinion on Krawitz after 4 months in the role.

{Ed002's Note - I haven't got an opinion on him - it is you who expressed the opinion and now you are saying it is "harsh" to have an opinion.}

5.) 14 Feb 2016 11:47:20
Not harsh to have an opinion. Harsh to judge him negatively after 4 months. that's MY opinion. Same goes for those judging Kloppo too.

Cheers for the update ed02 on the situation teixeria. Doesn't look like the deal will happen for us, maybe Chelsea considering there situation and the fact he's already agreed terms (so its only the price left to decide) .
Cheers.

I don't think Chelsea ll but him ( They should have bagged him long ago ) PSG could definitely look at him as a replacement for Lavezzi.

Adding to the sturridge debate I think there are two main points.

He's a person like the rest of which means if it is a mentally problem as should be showing support. He's had genuine injury problems and he may convince himself it could worsen if he plays, but at the end of the day that could happen to any player. In time he will hopefully get over it and I definitely put my faith in Klopp to get him over that.

What if he gets sold? If he premier league bought him can you imagine the goals he would get for them if he in time got over the injury problems. We are lucky to have him because hopefully soon he's going to have a good run with us.

The first of the brace he got at home to Villa was a world class finish. That, coming after his first game back from injury. Did it against West Ham last season too. I reckon he's worth the wait. Benteke is more than capable of filling in.

2.) 27 Nov 2015 20:29:15
Well said RedTwist.

3.) 27 Nov 2015 20:52:05
Heard a few ex players comment on Danny's injury situation but JK words are the best I've heard.

I'm sorry mate but he's right if you want to play you will go through the pain barrier.

4.) 28 Nov 2015 05:20:24
If you don't wanna get injured, don't play. End of.

Everyones getting excited about klopp yet we haven't even approached him so I'm not to sure why? Also ed001 said on the live broadcast AVB is a possibility but no ones mentioned him.

So thoughts on AVB?

RedTwist

{Ed002's Note - He will be available in November.}

1.) 04 Oct 2015 10:35:48
Please not avb

2.) 04 Oct 2015 10:59:46
Please god not avb. I'd rather keep br than be lumbered with another disaster

3.) 04 Oct 2015 11:25:20
It would make no sense to go for AVB.

4.) 04 Oct 2015 11:27:11
Going from one disaster to another makes no sense. Did very little at Spurs who out of the teams in the PL I would say were closest to ourselves. I don't see how he could do much better in the PL. I would like to know if Paulo Sousa or Roberto Di Matteo would be available. Slaven Bilic wouldn't be a bad thinking outside the box choice either. Obviously I would prefer either one of the big two. i'm not sure about Frank De Boer either for some reason,

5.) 04 Oct 2015 12:21:34
I don't want AVB as our manager but you need to get your facts straight. When Villas Boas was dismissed by Tottenham he ended with the highest win % of any Spurs manager. Somewhere around 56% I believe. A lot of which would be attributed to having Bale in the team.

The problem with AVB is that he failed horribly in the transfer market after selling their star player at Spurs and has zero experience from building a team. Correct me if i'm wrong but I don't believe he has ever stayed with a club for more than 1,5 seasons, which is a big worry for me.

6.) 04 Oct 2015 14:47:45
Ancellotti all day long for me. Proven winner.

7.) 04 Oct 2015 15:46:17
I do not want a avb as our coach

8.) 04 Oct 2015 11:14:28
What do you make of AVB's methods, ed002? Does he have what it takes to win trophies in England?

{Ed002's Note - Try the European pages.}

I'm kinda speechless. The only way I can take this post is as a joke. There is no way anyone wants that useless clown back! I'd only consider a donkey over Mario.

I've watched that and I completely agree. I want him to stick around as well, great back up and good person to have in the dressing room.

I completely agree, what is the point of going into the game not believing you will win? I'm buzzing and if we get smashed well. atleast I had a bit of excitement ;)

Two pointseparate I disagree with fencey. First is that he doesn't have good vision. like really? He can pick out a great long range pass and can pick pick out a good through ball.

secondly his composure will come. He just needs to have a good run of goals and hisee confidence will sky rocket in terms of goal scoring. Hendo is a very technical player and to be honest it surprises me he doesn't score more.
