What's the current situation with Ignazio Abate, any chance of Liverpool being interested?

Would love to see Sanchez as part of the Suarez deal but he looks as though he needs some convincing, personally I would go after Medel to try to tilt Sanchez our way, but if Sanchez signs or not I feel Medel is exactly the player we need for those hard European away games and to be honest looks twice the player Skrtel is at centre back as far as positional sense is concerned, with regards to his height that's what Sakho is there for.

Cheers I understand if you can't reply straight away, as it is difficult to type whilst shaking your head trying to contemplate what's happened tonight.
Just to add to that, I didn't really feel we needed a winger but just felt we needed a new face just to give the lads a lift. Personally would of liked a fullback or Dmid. Just feel that we gave settled for fighting for fourth.

Hi Ed's Are we even considering momo sissoko? he's a free agent and open to a short term deal. Surely this would be a great bit of business if money is as tight as our inability to sign anyone would lead us to believe.

I'm hoping this doesn't come across as a usual doom and gloom view but I am concerned about our chase for champions league, as spurs will be back to full strength for the next league game apart from lamela, yet we currently have no holding midfielder fit and don't have a timescale for there return surely it is wise to bolster this area. Ideally would love a world class enforcer but with time constraints as they are I know this is unlikely. Please don't condemn me but surely momo sissoko on a 6 month deal is an option that would benefit all parties, he needs game time to attract buyers and will want to prove himself and he also knows the club. I still feel we have enough going forward and WHEN WE DO get 4th we can strengthen with the higher quality players Rodgers is asking for as we might actually be able to negotiate with the lure of champions league football.
