BR made a comment recently about how he'd be looking to extend Gerrard's contract for another year in light of how good he's been this season. With that in mind, are there any other players that the club are looking to reward with contract extenstions? In the past few weeks I've seen names like Henderson, Sturridge, Sterling and Coutinho all listed as people who may get new contracts this summer and was just wondering if you guys had heard anything more at all?
Also, with Skrtel's form over the past season is it likely that BR will look to keep him for at least an extra season, and therefore allow Ilori out on loan for another season and have Skrtel and Toure, and maybe Kelly, competing for the RCB berth?

Hey eds, fantastic work over the summer. Not sure you guys were proven wrong once, and you're always one of my first stops for the latest rumours. Just following on from someone's comment about hoping Henderson was offered a new contract, are there any players in the squad at the moment who the club are keen to have sign new contracts? Admittedly, a large number of the squad now have only been at Liverpool a season or less and most of the others have signed new contracts in the past year, but the likes of Johnson, Enrique, Henderson etc.
Really appreciate the work you guys do.

Hi eds,
We've seen all the reports saying BR has assured everyone that Jordan Henderson and Jon Flanagan will be offered new contracts in the summer, but what about others? I've seen Philippe Coutinho's name mentioned (I guess to ward off interest from various parties), and obviously Glen Johnson as well. Jose Enrique was bought at the same time as JH so I assume he's got the same amount of time (just over a year now) left, so what are the club's plans for him? And are there any academy players who are being looked at offering contracts to?

Just curious on something - you've mentioned that a club can only have 2 loan signings at any one time (unless of goalkeeping emergency loans or having a player on a loan-to-buy-scheme), so in which case how come Everton were able to sign Barry, Lukaku and Deulofeu on loan in the last window? Is Barry on a loan-to-buy? Or is it something to do with Deulofeu being an U-21 player?

{Ed002's Note - It is to do with caveats in Deulofeu's contract that provide options at the end of the season and a bunch of stuff about money. It is complex I am told and tied to game time. Nothing is expected to come of it.}

@hjikle, behave. All you've done is list almost every goal keeper in the league there. Mignolet is no A-grade but he's certainly a lot better than at least half of your list, as Sean Ireland rightly points out.

The dude: last time we scored from a corner that I can remember was against Ings's goal against Everton when Brendan was still in charge. Seems like an eternity ago now.

Hugely. Maybe not the most gifted technically (though certainly not terrible) but he's been involved in something like 5 goals in the last 6 games. Fair play to him, he's a good player.

Completely agree with Ron Keague here. What's he supposed to say? "So and so is a better manager than me", "so and so should be manager here and I'll go back to West Ham". Come on, give the guy a break. I'm fed up of people bashing Brendan for any possible reason they can find. Has he not improved a large number of the players in the squad? Sure, the transfer record he possesses is not good, but personally I think we'll see next season how good players Lallana, Lovren, Can and Moreno are, and we arguably have already seen flashes.
I used to be his biggest fan, and I'm a bit disillusioned with him at present, but can we think about what he actually HAS done?
