Goal of the season scorer stuck in third gear? I think he is told to play a role and he does it sensibly. Not always giving ball away looking for killer balls. When he plays higher up the pitch he always looks pretty dangerous to me. Always a chance he can smack one in top corner. I would do all we can to keep him as he is only getting better and that's easy to see. Hence why ucl finalists want him.

Can like Couts, Studge, Lucas and Firmino, really stepped up for us in the final weeks of last season and he has carried that over into the German national team at the Confed Cup. He is now a full German international and barring any hiccups, will be in the Group for Russia. We need to keep Can as we will need him. Now if he wants to leave then, we should convince him to stay or let him go depending on the conversation.

If we keep selling our best players then what's the point? Torres knee was gone so fair enough for 50 mil and suarez was dying to play for Barcelona but coutinio is happy here, his kids have scouse accents, I don't think kieta could replace what Phil brings to the team but together I think any team would be worried about us. With mane and salah and their pace were going to be a nightmare!

I don't think Coutinho will leave. He's never expressed a desire to play for anyone else as far as I know and he seems happy and settled with us. I appreciate this is football and players move around but I just think we'll get at least another season out of him.

Hey Ed002 it's interesting that you say that Klopp has changed his stance completely. Do you mean his approach to transfers and he's now keeping his mouth shut rather than using the press? Do you know if Klopps previous actions were confronted within the club? I'm just interested if the executive management of the club had the balls to address the issues with Klopp or not. I have refrained from posting much this transfer season but looks like this is going to be a very costly mistake from Liverpool if they sign up VVD.
Yes, he might be better than Lovren and Klavan. In fact anyone decent would be better than both but even if we get him for 30, it would come back to haunt us and Klopp.
Hopeful that we miss this one by hook or crook.
Nothing personal against VVD but the numbers makes look stupid if they are true.
