Hello people, I just wanted to do my bit now I have something after reading your posts over the past few years.
My friend seems to think both Leicester and Spurs have a level of interest in Markovic.

Confused. com.
We are supposed to be needing a huge cull in players as we have no EU footy for the coming season, yet we are still bringing in and being linked with many players.
Obviously we will let some people go over the coming weeks, but it seems more are joining.
Weird.
Anyhow, just a little piece of info - Markovic is speaking to West Ham. Price £8.5m but could reach £10m with add-ons.

Surely West Ham or any prem side cannot be interested in Markovic?! I really thought Slavan's judgement was decent - this must be a nonsense rumour.

Faith, absolutely no for me. If you do that, you risk prices being inflated more and possibly panic buying. If our accountants are confident of balancing the books, I would much prefer to panic sell than panic buy (or indeed not panic sell at all and wait for the right offer, even if it's the next window) .
Both strategies are a risk, but I'd rather have right players to push us forwards.

Tbf Allen and probably smith will be leaving soon, and I reckon wisdom ilori markovic balotelli are sure to leave, even if on loan for a few. Benteke will if a good offer comes in and ed002 said Spurs make come in for lallana and Milner and Lucas may go if someone bids well too. That's another 9 that could go, on top of skrtel toure Enrique ibe canos that have already left, so up to 14 players. I'm sure a few youth will be loaned too, like ward has. That leaves 2 first team gks, 9 defenders if a left back comes in, 9 miss and 3 strikers, totalling 23. Still large, but not excessive.

Go to the official LFC website and click on team / first team. Should give you am indication of how many players there are and shifting 10 will make little difference to the squad.

It is nice to think it was a gesture, but I suspect a favour or a few pounds will be returned.
Hey, they can have Balotelli for free.
