LFC are one of many clubs who been looking at Molde FK's 17 year old striker Erling Braut Håland. He is the son of former Man City player Alf Inge Håland. I don't know if LFC are one of clubs intrested, but they have watched him on atleast a couple occasions, and Molde are now in talks with clubs from England, Germany and Italy over a transfer. I would imagine he will be looking for first team football, so LFC is probably not an alternative, but they have been looking at him.

{Ed002's Note - Haaland is a child and should stay away from major sides for now. Juventus have had a couple of offers knocked back whist Manchester United, Hoffenheim and HSV have made enquiries. The kid is apparently a Leeds supporter so perhaps they would provide an option.}

Ed, whatever happened to the new young superstar that went to Madrid. If I can recall he trained at Melwood a couple of times.

{Ed002's Note - 18 months ago having had some time to demonstrate his immaturity in Madrid, Martin Odegaard needed to get out on loan and get some game time for a while (two years). Getafe were offering that but he wasn't interested. Bayern Munich were providing the offer of a more permanent solution for him but Carlo Ancelotti would not have had him in the first team and the club would not have come close to his wage demands. The player had been offered to several clubs but the deal is that he has to play - and he was 17 then. Hamburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach were asked to provide a more sensible solution but they certainly would not commit to paying what he earns at Real Madrid for the next two years. Rennes had an offer rejected to take him on loan with a commitment to play him if Real Madrid pay his wages. In the end he went to Heerenveen with RM funding it. Right now Martin Odegaard is on their very lengthy list of players made available – and should be a lesson learned. Another loan is likely.}

Another top prospects career ruined. What are these so called agents going ££££££££. Thanks fir the detailed respond Ed.

{Ed002's Note - What has it got to do with an agent? Which agent do you think did anything wrong?}

3.) 13 Jul 2018 11:34:05
Very obvious, his agent. agent not thinking about the player or his career just their own bank balance.

{Ed002's Note - It is not obvious to me. He did not have an agent at that time as the rules forbid it.}

4.) 13 Jul 2018 11:43:29
Ed, Was it the player thinking he was already a legend? Was it also his father who was making out his son was already a star or is that someone else I’m thinking about.

{Ed002's Note - I don't understand the question. My knowing what you are thinking about is not one of my superpowers.}

5.) 13 Jul 2018 12:23:16
At least they only paid a few mil for him, for their sake I hope Vinicius Junior turns out to be a better signing.

6.) 13 Jul 2018 12:03:05
Easily explained then wasn’t it Ed.

7.) 13 Jul 2018 13:05:35
You would think young players would look at past examples like this and look to join clubs that will offer the playing time they need to progress. To be fair Dembele at Fulham and the other one at Celtic seem to have put their careers before money so hopefully they are starting to think about it but there is still a lot of talent at big premier league clubs that won’t get the opportunities they need.

8.) 13 Jul 2018 13:51:09
That’s why you don’t pay kids ridiculous wages.
They should be on the living wage until they are 21 I think.

9.) 13 Jul 2018 14:38:09
Den82- the Dembele at Fulham and the one at Celtic is the same player!

10.) 13 Jul 2018 15:54:17
I believe at the time his father was the one acting for him and on his behalf. The boy made a mistake a club like Ajax would have been the best option for him to develop in a decent league at such a young age. The wages Madrid paid however are just crazy!

11.) 13 Jul 2018 16:10:13
My bad I meant sessegnon has stayed there to get regular football rather than sit in the bench at spurs, Liverpool or unt etc.

12.) 13 Jul 2018 16:33:56
Dembele from Fulham and the one from Celtic is the same Dembele. He mived to Celtic from Fulham.

I just wanna say thank you to the eds for providing some nice info every now and then, not takin to much piss from plebs, and ading in some funny jokes from time to time. But i'm not going to be reading this site anymore, its embarrising to see all this people claiming to be fans just talking smack and harrasing the players. Very few people seems to actually know the game at all, and are just using the site to be trolls. Sadly this page has become more toxic than fun so peace out.

1.) 02 Jun 2016 20:57:28
I actually agree. If the Eds didn't post such excellent insights and accurate information this site wouldn't be worth the stress.

The quality of the posts has declined significantly. Slagging off our captain was the final straw for me. I'm just here now for Ed001, 002, 007, 091, Square Tomato and Macca as they provide info you can't get elsewhere. Ed033 deserves a special mention as he makes it all possible. To be fair to the Eds as well, they have to put up with the drivel we do and what I can only assume is far worse drivel which doesn't even get posted. So hats off to them for not only putting up with it, but continuing to provide us with such wonderful info free of charge.

2.) 02 Jun 2016 21:30:17
Im only here for Ed002's info. I hope he can see sense as to not punish us all just because there are some morons on this site. Ban them, dump their posts but don't be with holding great insight because of a few arseholes.

3.) 02 Jun 2016 22:24:24
In my experience, the best way to treat Trolls is to starve them of the attention and reaction that they desire.

If I were the Eds I would decrease the number of posts sent through from these idiots and as such negate their ability to cause such hysteria and conflict on the pages. Their posts won't be missed and soon they'll stop bothering.

The sooner the better really so we can't start getting this page back to what it once was.

4.) 02 Jun 2016 22:43:06
I would say ignore the trolls Eds. Just don't post their replies, and I am sure I speak for the majority on this website when I say that we would love for Ed002 to be back.

5.) 02 Jun 2016 23:02:29
it is naïve to think you can come on to a free site and avoid the trolls. Can we stop being so precious and just go about our business and not let gutless hate merchants win?

6.) 03 Jun 2016 00:45:36
hey guys what have i missed? MKS I value your opinion and you sound pi$$ed when your normally so level headed, what the hell has been going on?

15 Sep 2015 00:05:43
I know he hasn't been manager for long, and never at top level. But i'd love to hear the eds opinion on Niko Kovac?

{Ed001's Note - try the Euro Soccer site as he has nothing to do with Liverpool.}

That Zidane quote is not accurate, it is very very bad translation.

Barella would be awesome. One of the best midfielders in italy and still only 21 years old. Not that i think we need another player in midfield unless we get rid of some first.

One the better CB in bundesliga last season and he is unknown too a lot of people, how can he be overrated? He is also 22 years old, and have just started he's career.

He was lucky to come into the team when things got better, so he got all the hype. never was good enough. Hard work was the only thing he had, and that can only get you so far.

Stay away from anything involving Raiola. wouldn't want any of his players anyway. Maybe Lozano if he would change agent :D.

No match in the Premier League is a easy one. You can't be lucky 10 games in a row. Its going to be a though away game, against a team of players full of confidence. 3 points today would be massive.

Didnt Lorenzo also ride with a broken ankle in he's first or second season? Atlest for a couple of races, must be a though sob.

But is Lovren a better cb than Matip? I can see that Matip is maybe a bit lazy some times, but Lovren has no awereness at all and his positioning is youth level.

Do you have US Postal on that list :) ?

{Ed001's Note - I do now.}
