With us looking for a solution to our attacking problems and with it looking very likely that Pato is heading to chavski what are the eds thoughts on Hyuri? Young, quick, talented, proven finisher, flair. Seems just what we need and would be cheap (in comparison to others) .

I seriously can't believe nor understand why we would bid for, nevermind want benteke, the same type of player as balo which doesn't work for us, villa played to bentekes strengths we didn't play to balos, cannot fathom why we would want to spend, no, WASTE £32.5M on him! Would much rather have Fernandao from bursaspor or Soriano from salzburg for a fraction of that cost and they are both proven goalscorers!

The funny thing is that Liverpool are willing to bid £12+mill for Hernanes a 30 year old but can't pay the asking price for kovacic a 21 year old. But when it comes to strikers, 28 year old bacca is not worth the £21mill release clause but benteke is worth £25+mill at 24years old. Both bacca and kovacic are better, and as eds have said, Liverpool know exactly what they have to do to get them and I think we most likely can. We just prefer to take punts. Hernanes, benteke and clyne it is then.
Not negativity, I know these are decent players, but not top quality players. They are risky players that if work out are considered master strokes, if they don't they add too the ever growing list of bad buys that BR and the committee have already produced. Not the signings that get us competing, but I'm no fortune teller, so for now I'll support the signings.

You assume that those rumors are true. After 5 years of FSG, do you actually believe that they will pay 12 mil for a 30 yrs old player. ?!? I say No Chance. And rightly so because Hernanes is not worth them. He cannot even make it in a very average Brazilian midfield.

Just wondering what fellow reds fans (not the trolls who claim to be!) would "accept" as a successful season come May?During the summer it was expected we would challenge for the title and after spending £120m I thought that we should be, however as we all know results, ref decisions and injuries have gone against us as per the norm, so my question is .
What is the minimum you expected from the team in the summer and has that now changed given our start to the season and if things don't go well for us what do you think the boards minimum requirement from Rodgers is before they lose patience? (Bearing in mind kenny was sacked at the end of a season where he got to 2 cup finals and won one, but they sacked him anyway) Thoughts?

Sturridge out for ANOTHER month, that'll be EIGHTEEN games since he got injured whilst on int' duty, will the FA be paying his wages for the time he's missed? Doubt it!

Pretty offensive ed002???? How so? He said The England u21s were overrated and he was proven right by their early exit form the tournament, offensive? No. Honest? Yes. I for one would welcome him with open arms to the club.

Skrtel not good enough???? what planet are you on? he's been our best CB for the last two years! Braindead Retard has already pushed Agger out the door, now he wants to push Skrtel out as well. While meantime handing the 75 year old Toure a new contract! wake up! The players that REALLY aren't good enough and that should be sold is endless unfortunately, what is easier is who should stay!
