People thinking we already won the league yet if the season is canceled then we have not achieved anything this season.

Read this morning the league might be voided. For me they should cancel Euro 2020 and extend all the European Leagues. League football is the bread and butter stuff, noone gives two hoot about international footie and it certainly doesn't generate the revenue that the club's need to carry on trading.

and Adrian's mistake won't matter at all. The premier league must have rules on this if a season is stopped e. g. if over 50% of the season is completed and the season cancelled then whoever is top will be crowned the champions anyway.

I'm guessing they probably don't, and it's always be seen as a 'tainted' win if there were rules.
{Ed002's Note - The rules vaguely related to this that they had were scratched as they could be seen to award the league to a second placed team if the leading side were excluded for whatever reason. What would happen now is akin to what happened in Italy when Juventus were stripped of the title for the 2004/05 season where it would not be awarded. But I am sure it will all be fine for Liverpool.

that rule applies in golf if a competition is abandoned (bad weather etc) if 75%have completed the course then the result stands. As a man utd fan i resigned myself to the fact that liverpool were going to win the league at xmas and tbh it would be cruel if yous didn't through it being suspended: then so would it for leeds, wba and so on .

Before it was the grass being too dry, then the wind being too windy, now it's the ball being not round enough that caused Adrian to let that goal in, I used to think I heard it all with Mourinho's excuses, now klopp takes it to another level.

Time, I read that and on the face of it, I was embarrassed. Klopp needs to chill out with these types of comments. If he wants to defend Adrian who IMO, didn't see the shot till the last moment cos VVD was in front of him, then there are other ways of doing it. Not this way, IMO.

Did he really say that? Very surprising.
If you watch the replays you'll see that Adrian is stretching himself out wide in a blocking position with both his arms stretched out to the side. He wasn't trying to catch anything; he was trying to block. And that's because he couldn't see with VVD in his line of view. The moment the ball went in, he turned around to VVD and pointed to his eyes, meaning he couldn't see.
