I believe the maximum penalty that can be handed out by fifa is 24 matches OR a 2 year ban for such offences.it has already been suggested that a 1 year international ban could be coming mr suarez way assuming he is found guilty!And please do not be fooled into thinkin FIFA do not have the powers to ban a footballer domestically although at this stage seems unlikely.

Barcelona interest not as strong as being publicated in media they are resigned to the fact they could not pay the money required in a lump sum coupled with alexis sanchez havin a preference for a move to italy however lfc are interested in the player.real madrid will look for an agreement with regards to installments and suarez tops their summer "wishlist".do not expect 100% of any fee to be reinvested into the team due to ffp and stadium development.

the club remain committed to kono deal and are still confident a deal will be reached.it will go down to the wire and lfc will pay to get their man.He will be a Liverpool player no doubt.medical set for weekend and the player is desperate to sign

dont want to burst dreamers bubbles or anything but unless a player unexpectedly becomes available over the next couple of days there will be no arrivals.dissappointing I know but salah aside we haven't been remotely close to signing anyone (not that salah was ever close!) BR has targets obviously but january is a difficult window and we can't always have a window like last year i.e sturridge/coutinho.top 4 finish still in our own hands!

ps tom ince will sign for stoke ;-)
