Ed's how long should it take for the process of sakho's B test to be tested and the results to come through?
Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - no idea, there is no set time.}

Afternoon eds
Which clubs are showing an interest in suso?

ashy77

{Ed002's Note - He is on loan for the season - perhaps a question for the summer. I would think a number of Spanish sides would then be interested.}

With ed02 and other ed's getting stick for what they have to say and the knowledge that they offer. Just take a minute to think about the amount of posts/ abuse they they have to filter out on a daily basis. That must take its toll on the thickest of skins. I just want to say I've been a daily reader but very infrequent poster since the days of Hicks and Gillette buying the club. I massively appreciate all the ed's and the regular posters on the forum.

Anyone giving Ed’s lip just ****in ban them!
We don’t want clowns like that around! This is a great community with good debate and high inside Info!
If u don’t want it and want to be a smart arse **** off else where!

2.) 14 Jul 2023 19:26:14
Couldn't agree more with the OP.

Have read this site every day for years and I love it.

The Eds knowledge and craic is first class.

People who think they know more than them should look for another site to express their bile.

3.) 14 Jul 2023 20:30:55
I’m still hoping for the thumbs down button. Could be wrong, but I reckon it would help the posters to self police.

4.) 14 Jul 2023 21:00:03
The thumbs down would only encourage them. just take one glance at the BBC’s HYS.

5.) 15 Jul 2023 01:05:35
Maybe.

6.) 15 Jul 2023 06:23:04
The Ed’s are brilliant with both football information and football knowledge. The site is what it is (the best football site for Liverpool fans anywhere) because of the Eds.

I really rate Ed01 for his appreciation of football tactics and player summary in terms of weaknesses and strengths.

I really rate Ed02 for sharing the information he has on clubs’ and players’ status particularly in terms of the transfer market.

I really rate Ed25 for his view of life and the way he applies it to footy.

I also have a soft spot for both Ed14 and Ed25. As supporters of Arsenal and, especially Everton, they deserve all the help and support we can give them.

That said, everybody, including the Eds, is fallible. We all make mistakes, we all say stupid things and we all get wound up from time to time and say things that are the result of emotion rather than sensible thought.

Anyway, for my part, apologies for not always showing board members, Ed’s and contributors, the respect that is due in recent times and for exceeding the bounds of banter.

7.) 15 Jul 2023 07:02:02
Speaking of Ed014, I saw on the Utd page that he won't be editing this site anymore. Hope that everything is alright with him.

{Ed014's Note - I’m good thanks mate, the post was a little misleading as he meant just that site.

Some of the absolute melts had emailed in and complained about me so he asked if I’d mind not editing that page so that I didn’t obvs upset the little cherubs. ?‍♂️

They love giving it out but can’t hack some home truths and it didn’t bother me at all as they just repeat the same shite but in a different way.

Zero loss to me though, just made me laugh how sad some people can be. ?

But appreciate you asking fella.

8.) 16 Jul 2023 02:56:42
Glad to hear you're alright Ed014. Was a bit worried when I heard that you're taking a break from editing this site. Relieved to know that it was just a misunderstanding on my part.

And you're always welcomed on this page Ed. Always nice to hear what other fans think of us. Keeps us grounded in a way. going to miss your fishing trips on the Utd page but oh well, I'll just find another way to keep entertained I suppose ?.

{Ed014's Note - thanks again mate, sorry about that and just reading it is more often than not funny enough! ?

You might have just posted a bit too soon mate the next 5hrs will be interesting ??.

2.) 30 Jun 2023 18:58:00
We used that release clause? many reporting that! hopefully its true!

3.) 30 Jun 2023 19:02:11
Fabio Romano just confirmed it’s done.

When journalists say we’re not buying players they’re clickbait and haven’t got a clue.

When the same ones say we are buying someone they are definitely in the know.

If this does come off then credit to FSG (even though they have nothing to do with transfers)

And credit to the transfer team putting the deal together.

4.) 30 Jun 2023 19:23:23
Maybe Jorg had a hand in this.

5.) 30 Jun 2023 20:10:46

An attention seeker getting more attention than he bargained for.

2.) 04 Jun 2023 09:56:34
Absolute scumbag.

3.) 04 Jun 2023 09:57:47
Exactly how any scumbag from any club for that matter should be treated lifetime ban for bigots and racists no place for toxic people like that Manc fan in football.

4.) 04 Jun 2023 10:43:05
I live within walking distance of **** Trafford, I will keep a special eye out for this idiot next season!
I had to stop a ‘fan’ on his way to the game verbally abusing an elderly Muslim bloke when they played Chelsea last week, thankfully my shouts of SEVEN NILL deflected the racist idiots attention.
Most United fans I know are horrified by these fools to be fair, but none can deny that there are more of them around since their success has waned.

5.) 04 Jun 2023 11:00:47
It’s just a shirt, get a grip.

6.) 04 Jun 2023 11:12:50
I have no idea why a human being would buy a shirt that cost about 100 pounds, pay extra money to print this disgusting message on the back of the shirt, wear it to a football game that said team is not even playing in, and expect NOTHING to happen to you nor any consequences at all?

Most importantly at no point thru out this process did it not occur to you to stop and reflect on what you are about to do? Now that's some serious mental issue with hatred that needs medical evaluation, IMO. Good grief!

7.) 04 Jun 2023 11:25:37
Benny Baller.

Are you for real lad? Eds, can you have a word please?

8.) 04 Jun 2023 11:50:23
Benny, you may to take a minute and think this through before you carry on mate.

9.) 04 Jun 2023 11:32:48
Benny my 16 year school friend died at Hillsborough but I suspect this idiot did it more out of ignorance and stupidity than anything else however that doesn’t mean people should learn - and I suspect this short, sharp, shock treatment will hopefully help him to do that.

I think the gallows and public flogging is a tad too far though….

10.) 04 Jun 2023 11:37:35
We have our own fair share of idiots, sadly that’s football. Don’t get it myself.

11.) 04 Jun 2023 11:43:59
"Its just a shirt. Get a grip"? Benny, you would never say that to a family member of the 97. Give it a thought.

12.) 04 Jun 2023 11:56:44
Whilst it is just a shirt, the meaning behind it is horrific.

Effectively dehumanising those fans to nothing more then who they support and saying more should of been taken on that day.

Each of those individuals had families and friends impacted and still are today and will be whilst their memory lives on.

The behaviour needs addressing to try limit these instances as much as possible.

If its not stamped out or shrugged off as 'just a shirt' the problem only gets worse in my opinion.

13.) 04 Jun 2023 12:18:51
Where the ugly side of society and football meet.

I hope he is educated about what happened and the impact is had and still has on people's lives to find some empathy and compassion in his life.

14.) 04 Jun 2023 12:31:27
I live in Australia these days and a few years ago there was a spate of fires in a very dry summers and a fair few were set by nutters. One idiot who set a fire which destroyed houses and badly injured a number of people was caught and put through the courts and punished. The New South Wales Premier (a fella called Bob Carr) added a little bit more to the punishment. He took the bloke found guilty to visit the burns patients and their families and made him apologise face to face. Just a thought.

The thing that gets me is the thought behind getting that printed on the shirt. Either extremely evil or extremely stupid beyond words.

15.) 04 Jun 2023 12:37:16
On another note. Manchester Derby, City on the brink of destroying the 99 legacy.
Man United fans still only thinking about Liverpool. ??‍♂️

Anyway JFT97 YNWA. May they rest in peace without idiots like this.

16.) 04 Jun 2023 12:51:58
I think it's just a tit in a shirt wanting attention and I think the police getting a grip of him was a good thing. I am sorry that Benny has a different opinion and I'm surprised the eds have allowed it on the page.

17.) 04 Jun 2023 13:07:45
@bennyballer

Read the room. In isolation what you said makes sense because realistically, it’s gallows humour in very poor taste. Nothing more, nothing less. However, saying that on a forum where several of the people will have been directly affected is a bit dense and more than a bit insensitive, to say the least.

18.) 04 Jun 2023 13:38:07
Mocking a tragedy on a shirt or otherwise is wrong and shows the level of IQ this idiot has.

19.) 04 Jun 2023 16:51:06
While this numbnuts’ shirt is incredibly offensive and upsetting for many. I don’t believe this is an issue for the police. The club should kick him out, lifetime ban, be publicly humiliated. However, it concerns me when a shirt can have you arrested. I’m sure the guy has almost 2 brain cells in total but I worry we are getting closer to the thought police. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to suggest people shouldn’t be upset, I just don’t think it should be criminal by law.

20.) 04 Jun 2023 16:10:52
Really think bennys post needs taking down really inappropriate for this page.

21.) 04 Jun 2023 17:38:06
I'm as appalled as you are, utterly appalling. I struggle to understand the mentality of someone who thinks this is, well I don't know what.

I was working in Liverpool at the time, with people who were indirectly affected, this plant pot wasn't even born. It kind of demonstrates the sick side of society that exists now, I hope they throw everything they can at him.

{Ed025's Note - poisoned spears would be good AJH..

22.) 04 Jun 2023 18:07:37
Potclay, it does have the feel of police overreach and is a little concerning for free speech laws, but that’s the way things seem to be creeping in these days. Even though none of us would say he doesn’t deserve it (though perhaps whatever martial justice was dished out if he’d have worn it outside Anfield and not whilst in the midst of a “friendly” crowd would be more appropriate) the fact that you can be arrested for a seemingly innocuous phrase above a number on the back of a shirt is worrisome. They will have a mandate for hate speech, incitement of violence etc so…

Then again, he could say it was a link to liverpool getting 97 points and that not being enough to win the league a few years back. Murky ground when interpretation is involved.

{Ed002's Note - It is unrelated to free speech.

23.) 04 Jun 2023 18:25:14
Benny, give your head a wobble.

24.) 04 Jun 2023 19:22:55
Unfortunately it reflects the society we live in nowadays.

25.) 04 Jun 2023 20:06:28
It’s hate speech in my opinion
Inciting violence is another interpretation.

Hope he feels the full force of the law.
Hard labour and re-education.

26.) 04 Jun 2023 19:48:01
How so Ed002?

{Ed002's Note - There is a huge difference between hate and free speech.}

27.) 04 Jun 2023 20:18:19
Benny, Embarrasing does not even begin to describe your comment. Do better.

28.) 04 Jun 2023 22:49:56
Oh I see. I understand where you’re coming from, but when we start criminalising people for ideas and opinions, no matter how insipid, it doesn’t take too long before any idea, no matter how benign, can fall into the realm of punishability. It’s a slippery slope that I don't want to be near the bottom of.

Man Utd, the FA etc should ban him for not conforming to their policies, but when the state gets involved to say what opinion he can or can’t express publicly then that sets a dangerous precedent.

29.) 04 Jun 2023 23:45:09
Must be living a sad life. Deplorable.

30.) 05 Jun 2023 00:13:03
Suggesting a shirt like that is banter is telling of how far society has falling.

31.) 05 Jun 2023 00:24:37
Quo Vadis, I agree with your sentiments completely. In Europe we tend to see freedom of speech, as something that is not completely free, we tended to self regulate what is acceptable. That self censorship seems to be so much further out the window than it should be. In the States, the 1st amendment, that was created to allow political freedom to protest but is being used to spout all kinds of venom. Society on both sides is progressing into some murky realms. The problem is the age old question, who decides what is hate speech. As you say a slippery slope.

32.) 05 Jun 2023 00:28:31
I think Benny used a letter too many when he typed the word 'shirt'.

33.) 05 Jun 2023 03:56:39
@Ron, totally agree - it’s hate speech whether the moron wearing it appreciates it or not. Again, irrespective of the moron understands it or not it can also be construed as incitement. I’m n my opinion and incitement to violence removes the right to free speech as it totally disregards any responsibility both as a member of society or regard for the laws of the society that the moron chooses to live in.

23 May 2023 06:43:20
I know the Villa game has now gone but does anyone else think that if klopp was on the touch line we would of won that game.

ashy77

1.) 23 May 2023 07:16:36
Ashy it’s a hard one to answer because you could argue that the performance would have been better with Klopp on the touch line but on the other hand you could also argue that we’ve failed to win 22 other games this season with Klopp on the touch line.

2.) 23 May 2023 07:52:37
I don’t do ifs, buts and maybes, i do absolutes.

3.) 23 May 2023 08:49:50
Only a Sith deals in absolutes.

4.) 23 May 2023 09:06:01
we absolutely would have won then AW? ???.

5.) 23 May 2023 09:14:45
Wouldn't spend too much time on that as it would have changed Newcastle's dynamic yesterday if we had won although they still battered Leicester from pillar to post.

Klopp could have annoyed the ref if he was on the sideline and we would have had some dodgy decisions in the game. Oh wait.

What's done is done still route for Chelsea against United but when undoubtedly they don't do anything roll on next season.

6.) 23 May 2023 10:12:53
DirtyMic that is the single best comment i've seen in my 14 years on this website ???.

7.) 23 May 2023 11:24:03
Tough to say. Each game has it's own story, Klopp on the bench or not.

8.) 23 May 2023 13:08:27
Newcastle deserve credit they played well most of the season. We didn’t, it’s a sad fact. We tried to implement tactics that we didn’t have the players for and a poor one at that. We need to be intense and play to our strengths.

Man U and Newcastle have had better results we didn’t achieve nearly as well as the squad could of had they not been such idiots and change so much at once.

9.) 23 May 2023 15:02:35
Ashy you need to stop listening to that talk sport idiot Gabby, that was so successful.

10.) 23 May 2023 16:06:27
Your statement itself is an absolute Mic. Are you a sith?

11.) 23 May 2023 20:03:58
Absolut? Why are you bringing vodka into this?

12.) 24 May 2023 14:08:16
Thanks MK, honestly I agree with AW sentiment but I couldn't give up the chance to get in a Star Wars reference on a football site. Something I'm actually qualified to talk about.

01 May 2023 06:31:38
Exciting game yesterday which had a bit of the good the bad and the ugly. Klopp brought the ugly with his behaviour towards the fourth official. He really does need to reign it in. And as for Tierney saying something that's not "cool" I just don't believe it. To end on a positive note, how good was it to see Diaz scoring again.

ashy77

1.) 01 May 2023 07:19:00
Dont be a stick in the mud, Ashy. Good to see Klopp’s passion. He got carried away and took a yellow card for his troubles but its a football match not high tea. He didn't do anything objectionable anyway.

2.) 01 May 2023 07:33:08
PGMOL have looked at the recording and said no problem with what Tierney said. Klopp lost it. Prob build up of the season and watching his shambolic defence, midfield and tactics collapse again.

3.) 01 May 2023 08:24:32
I love Klopps passion and maybe you have to take the rough with the smooth but it wasn’t good behaviour by him. The ref was awful yesterday but for both teams. But what was worse was the defending and game management. At 3-0 up we should never let an average spurs team back into it. Robertson was very poor yesterday. Thought Diaz and Jones were our best players, but it’s worrying every time a team attacks us you expect them to score was the same against forest not just Kane and Son.

4.) 01 May 2023 08:24:35
@Darwin evolution I get its passion but with the current stance on respecting the refs etc, it's going to be highlighted and talked about more and more and it'll lead to a lengthy ban for Klopp. The last thing we need is Pep being the main man for the run in.

5.) 01 May 2023 08:29:15
What do you expect the PGMOL to say? They will defend the officials to the fullest as they won't admit that they have done something wrong

So Klopp showed a bit of passion, exactly what we want to see.
We can argue forever as to whether he should have run up to the 4th official, but I'm just happy that the passion is there

As for Tierney, the less said the better

We got away with one this weekend. Jota probably lucky to not get a red for his high boot and there were a few other "dodgy" decisions, but like I said, the less said the better.

6.) 01 May 2023 08:50:33
It’s recorded. They’ve checked it. It’s obvious Klopp is acting like a petulant child. They should record all players and managers and play those back and nail them for disrespect. The attitude of players and managers to refs is a disgrace and needs fundamental change. Klopps passion is mostly over the top and a disgrace to our club. I’m amazed he gets away with it week after week. He should save his passion and energy to figure out how we threw a 3-0 lead away and why he’s ok for Milner to come on at the end of a game to make fouls and put even more pressure on an under pressure team which was actually what lead to their 3rd goal.

7.) 01 May 2023 09:56:20
I am glad he is showing some signs of life considering he looked like a broken man a few months ago. Big up to klopp for rediscovering his love for the game and turning our shambolic season around. Starting to wonder if this is a troll tbh.

8.) 01 May 2023 10:06:19
Love Jurgen 100%, but what an atrocious example he set for the younger levels of football yesterday and society in general?

I expect him to "Fully Apologise" for his Behaviour before the Fulham game, our season is basically "all over" which makes it more puzzling as Spurs was not a season defining game, pity he never showed the same attitude and behaviour to the players after the first game of the season away at Fulham!

9.) 01 May 2023 10:16:19
It’s great to see the manager take it all to heart and get emotional about wanting to win. I’ve just been reading the extracts from Lumplard’s rambling pseudo- intellectual drivel from his pre-match presser …. I know which of the two I prefer.

10.) 01 May 2023 10:34:05
@warmachine

“Klopps passion is mostly over the top and a disgrace to our club”

Wash your mouth out son!

11.) 01 May 2023 10:44:56
Would you rather have a wallflower as a manager or someone who is passionate? Sure you love the fist bumps to the Kop at the end of the game. Can’t take half the passion out of someone.

12.) 01 May 2023 11:31:20
I’m not saying want Klopp did is right or wrong but the one thing I’d ask is would our opinions differ if it had been Pep, Mourinho, Conte or another manager doing it?

I know my answer would be yes.

13.) 01 May 2023 11:59:48
Wish I had washed my mouth out Navy given I was watching with my 9 yr old and started shouting obscenities at the tv and doing err signs with my hand at the tv when they showed Richarlison after Jota had scored. Appalling behaviour.

14.) 01 May 2023 12:07:42
Tierney is a terrible referee.

Klopp’s feelings about Tierney have been building for years.

Tierney knows this and might even relish it.

PL officials need to explain the why Salah never gets s foul. The club has been way too slow to raise this with them. It’s a reasonable question.

15.) 01 May 2023 12:31:05
WarMAchine, multiple things can be correct at the same time. What Klopp did was wrong and he admitted it himself so no issues there. If any other manager did that, we should be saying the same thing and if he gets done then, so be it.

However, don't give me the whole PGMOL schtick about them reviewing recordings and tapes and all that like you don't know that these guys lie thru their teeth to back themselves up. Are you suddenly a PGMOL fan boy now cos it suits your narrative to berrate Klopp and the club everytime you get? "Klopp is a disgrace to our club". Save it, bro. Even the rival fans love Klopp regardless so you ain't fooling anyone.

If that is your idea or transparency then, take a day off, bro. If the PGMOL really cared about transparency then, they should have offered the club the opportunity of hearing the recordings to support their claim that Tierny did nothing. Why aren't they doing that? Did you think about that? Again, take a day off.

16.) 01 May 2023 13:11:53
Simmer down oil red boy and go and squeeze those spots.

17.) 01 May 2023 13:53:20
WarMachine, OliRed just handed your rear hand to you on a silver platter with a well constructed assassination of your nonsense. You had absolutely no comeback because the only way back is to admit you went over the top.

If anyone is giving off spotty teenager vibes, it's you. With your extreme hyperbole and your inability to debate without just going after someone personally. For the record there is nothing wrong with spotty teenagers either and their opinions are no less valid than yours just because you're closer to dying that getting an unassisted erection again.

18.) 01 May 2023 15:15:04
Well that escalated quickly. Tone it down fellas, we’re all Liverpool fans here. You’re behaving as bad as the Klopp bloke.

19.) 01 May 2023 16:22:15
Brilliant. war machine mate. you've been done there massively. Good night son.

20.) 01 May 2023 16:30:47
DreamofGin, i just have no time for bullies. Calling people "boy" and mocking kids with spots? There's a special place reserved in hell for adults who bully kids.

21.) 01 May 2023 21:29:26
Okay, it seems I am walking in on (hopefully) the end of this.

Run onto the field during the game to celebrate a goal (against Everton) with Alisson? Extreme passion and I have no problem with it. Yes, get fined if necessary because it's against the rules.

Celebrate wildly in a group jig and dance, for a goal by Lallana in a 5-4 game, and break your glasses in the process? Extreme passion and I have no problem with it.

Run over to Tuchel's side of the managers' boxes and do your fist pumps (after scoring against Dortmund), again it's extreme passion and I have no problem with it.

Exchange strong language with Lumplard in a completely silent stadium is again extreme passion. And we know our guy is one with extreme passion.

Run at the 4th official during a game after having scored again is once again our guy showing extreme passion. I have no idea if any words were exchanged. But hang on, err, when is it beyond the limit? Where do you set the line? Just my thoughts on it.

And one more thing, Olired is right. It really looks like a set up. Statistically Paul Tierney has reff'd 21% of our games this year so far. Are there only 4 other refs in the EPL so that Tierney refs our every 5th game? Seriously? And who has set this up knowing this club and manager have an "ongoing thing" with this referee? Makes you wonder doesn't it?

22.) 01 May 2023 09:13:11
Spot on Warmachine, Jota got Milner out of jail. Conceding that free kick in that position, at that stage of the game, was scandalous. Milner is like Ashley Young, well past it and resorts to going right through the player because he is 2 yards too slow. And people are advocating for Milner to be given another year. Incredible.

Coutinho will still be enthusiastic as ever even if transfer request is denied, as he will want to be part of the brazil world cup squad and couldn't afford to sulk. It shouldn't of got to the stage where he has had to hand in a TR. Once he informed the club of his wish to leave they should of thanked him for contributions to the club and set the price.

{Ed025's Note - in the ED025 new rule book Ashy, if someone goes down holding their face when they have not been touched...a big groc comes on and actually punches them in the face mate, it will catch on i promise you.. :)

Ed25. Whatever the outcome, it will galvanise the players and fans even more. Us against the world mentality. Even if you had another 10 point deduction you will still finish 17th and above.

{Ed025's Note - im not so sure about that ashy, our first team is decent i think but the squad depth is very sparse mate, a few injuries or suspensions and we are in the mire again, it can work both ways that us against the world mentality though, it could also grind the players down and make them lose faith..thats the worry..

Ed25. I've read or heard that everton could get their points deduction reduced at appeal but then get them added again for this breach. So really everything stays as it is.

{Ed025's Note - its all speculation ashy, some are saying we will get 6 points back and we will get a new fine of 10 points mate making 14 in all, but its just guessing mate and im just wishing it was all over now, put us in the Championship and have done with it i say and wave goodbye to the corrupt Premier league..
