Hi Ed’s and reds,

I’ve seen a lot of rumours today about Lucas Paqueta’s agent being in Liverpool today ahead of potential talks with us. Anyone else knows if this is true?
Cheers.

Really really really really hope so he would b great we need some creative magic.

2.) 06 Oct 2018 10:51:24
The transfer window is closed, last time anyone asked about him Ed002 said no interest. An update was given recently on transfers and he was not mentioned either. I would dismiss as nonsense tbh.

3.) 06 Oct 2018 12:49:04
The Ed’s are allowed not to know everything.

4.) 06 Oct 2018 15:13:18
They are indeed, but the quality of sources reporting on this speaks for itself.

5.) 06 Oct 2018 18:59:11
If only it were true.

07 Jun 2018 21:08:35
Fee agreed with Lyon for Fekir according to L’equipe.

Ironically wasn’t Fabinho confirmed by the club at 21:15 last week lol.

28 May 2018 19:29:42
Apparently Liverpool have offered €50m for Fabinho from Monaco, going to be honest I’ve not seen him play has anyone else?

dilldog12

1.) 28 May 2018 19:44:16
Hard core DM and one of the best DM.

2.) 28 May 2018 19:44:48
Quality holding midfielder from what I’ve seen, shouldn’t have an issue with our high tempo either.

We have moved from one French Player from Monaco onto another it seems! Personally, I prefer this one too.

3.) 28 May 2018 19:50:47
Good player. Technically good, defensively very good. Highly rated around Europe.

4.) 28 May 2018 19:52:05
Very good player in my opinion. Can play defensive midfield or right back. Powerful runner, decent shot, very physical, and tough tackler. In fact he is very similar to Fernandinho or Man City.

5.) 28 May 2018 20:00:54
Hope this is true.

6.) 28 May 2018 20:03:47
If true, this is excellent news and credit to Micheal Edwards. (Again) .

7.) 28 May 2018 20:12:38
Few agreed now apparently.

8.) 28 May 2018 20:25:09
Unless the eds confirm this, I’m not buying it!

9.) 28 May 2018 20:37:12
This could be our new right back ;)

10.) 28 May 2018 20:48:39
BBC are reporting it, that’s Can going.

11.) 28 May 2018 21:11:33
All done, let’s hope he ends up doing well.

20 May 2018 17:54:38
Hello Ed's and reds hope all is well, can't wait for the final next week, I don't usually post these type of rumours but one of my mates cousins who works at anfield claims to have seen Ruben Neves outside the ground making his way inside. Just thought I'd pass it on.
Enjoy your evening all.

dilldog12

1.) 20 May 2018 18:22:17
Obviously we would all like Neves to sign for LFC, but if he was discussing contracts etc you would imagine he would probably visit the London offices with his agent. But we live in hope of course.

2.) 20 May 2018 18:22:30
A good old fashioned rumour.

{Ed002's Note - Neves is not in Engl;and at the moment.}

3.) 20 May 2018 18:43:49
Don't be a partykiller, Edd002!

4.) 20 May 2018 18:46:23
And Ed002 with good old fashioned fact! Ed002, hope you’re well sir?

{Ed002's Note - I am fine thanks.}

5.) 20 May 2018 19:07:51
Brilliant. I can’t wait for Simao to be spotted at the Pier Head.

6.) 20 May 2018 19:15:43
I’m on the 10A from town neves is on the bus don’t listen to ed 002 he’s viewing a house in page moss. Didn’t want to take the rolls Royce as people might notice him.

7.) 20 May 2018 20:51:55
Is this why ED02 does nt do transfer updates? Completed upstaged. Hope Neves claimed the back Seat, but surely he'd take a taxi.

8.) 21 May 2018 11:13:02
Hahaha the replies to this, maybe it was just a look alike then.

9.) 21 May 2018 12:43:45
Neves has an identical twin brother who sometimes stands in for him for transfer negotiations, girlfriends, driving tests, and occasionally playing on those weekends Neves gets a 3/ 10. So, there could well be something in this.

10.) 21 May 2018 16:40:15
Hi eds 002, Neves is not England because he is in Liverpool Country as per Sakho.

Hi Ed's and Reds, hope you are all well.

I have just seen that Liverpool have signed Striker Joe Hardy from Brentford, a bit out of the blue! Was wondering if any reds know about joe, what type of player he was and what not?

Don't know anything about him myself and I've noticed he actually plays for Brentford's reserves, bit of a strange one!

Have a good day everyone.

dilldog12

1.) 06 Jan 2020 15:46:27
Think he was signed for the U23 as they are short on forward options.

23 Oct 2018 19:04:59
Hi Ed’s and reds hope all is well,
Just a quick question I’ve heard Bobby Duncan has been doing well of late and has been training with the first team also. Just curious is he well thought of by the club?

Many Thanks and enjoy your night all.

Harry Wilson has just scored his first goal for wales on his birthday aswell 👌🏼 The lads doing quite well for himself at the moment.

dilldog12

1.) 22 Mar 2018 13:04:48
He's scoring for fun at the moment, he has so much potential that lad, I want to see him get his chance with us next season because he's proving how good he really is.

2.) 22 Mar 2018 13:15:48
That's great to hear. It's cool that we have trent AA and Joe gomez getting a lot of first team action but it would be great to see a youngster in a more attacking role. Like Harry winks for spurs and Tommy mc what's his name for utd. Fair play to Wilson, I really hope he makes it at Liverpool. Ryan Kent looked amazing against bayern Munich in Pre season too. I hope he's been doing well.

It's been a while since 23carragold gave us an update. I wonder how origi is getting on?

Eds is origi out on loan to gain experience or is he looking to move permanently, or are we looking to sell him. I get a feeling he went because of the world cup and he wanted to play regularly and try and get into that Belgium team, I think he is twice the player that benteke is, lukaku can be their strength up front with origi and hazard feeding off the headers.

{Ed002's Note - Origi is getting experience but I suspect he will look to leave without guarantees.}

3.) 22 Mar 2018 13:27:54
Have a search on the function Supersalah, 23carragold gave an update at the start of this week - should still be able to find it.

4.) 22 Mar 2018 14:00:58
He provided a decent assist as well. I hope he gets his chances but it will be difficult to get regular playing time.

5.) 22 Mar 2018 14:28:46
My update is currently on the other posts page Supersalah :)

With reference to Kent he has not had a great season on loan. He barely featured for Freiburg and now back in the UK he has found himself on the bench for Barnsley getting a few 10 minute run outs.

Rumours are Brewster will be in the first team squad next season and also that Wilson will get a chance.

I can see Solanke and Woodburn going on loan whilst Origi and Sturridge are sold.

6.) 22 Mar 2018 14:44:35
Origi s loan not going well, he has been subbed a lot, and not scoring enough goals, but we got 6 million for a seasons long loan, and all wages paid, and we got him for 10 million, so that was a good deal,
not sure what will happen in the summer transfer window .

7.) 22 Mar 2018 15:04:59
Thanks hjike, I will have to start using that function.

Thanks for the reply Ed, I'm glad origi is playing, he is good enough to play first team football imo, be a shame if he goes but not too bad.

And thanks carragold23, nice of you to reply. That a real shame about Kent, I really saw a lot of promise in that bayern Munich match but one game doesn't make a player I suppose.

Brilliant news about brewster though and Wilson! I can't wait, I really can't.

Cheers guys.

8.) 22 Mar 2018 17:07:30
Sorry I missed it what is the brilliant news on Brewster?

9.) 22 Mar 2018 17:17:31
My mistake just read what Carragold said. Cheers.

10.) 22 Mar 2018 20:00:57
was a top finish also!

11.) 22 Mar 2018 20:48:23
For someone who has watched Wolfsburg a lot this season, Origi is getting a raw deal at that club. In one sentence, they are a shambles. They are at their 3rd manager already, a truly crap team where Origi plays up top on his own with NO service most of the time hence, he gets subbed off. He has scored 5 goals this season BUT still the talent around him is just poor across the board. We have seen Origi play WAY better than he is doing now cos well, we have better players and a manager who believes in him. That is not the case at Wolfsburg so I hope people are cognisant of these conditions before assessing his progress or IMO, lack thereof.

{Ed025's Note - no matter how tinted your glasses are brover sometimes you have to just admit when you sign a lemon, origi is a decent kid but should be nowhere near the premier league mate, go on just admit it...you will feel better im sure..

12.) 23 Mar 2018 06:12:09
Have to agree with ED025 to be honest, haven't seen anything from Origi to suggest he will be anything other than mediocre (at best) . hasn't got a great finish, doesn't have great movement, lacks that instinct to get into dangerous places. Sure he is powerful, can hold the ball up, but his passing is often poor and his dribbling is very loose. I hope I am proven massively wrong but he seems a long way from the sort of quality we require - it is a shame he got that injury against Everton when he was in pretty good form, sometimes those spells can make a player and help them push on - I wonder if that just knocked him development and confidence at a cruical time and he simply hasn't (nor may never) recover from/ rediscover that quality.

13.) 24 Mar 2018 00:05:12
Ed25, you can call Origi a lemon or whatever name you want to. That does not change the fact that you are secretly relieved that such a "lemon" has no issues bullying making your boyhood club a laughing stock each time he plays against your dreadful lot (he was bossing your lot when they actually had a decent team, actually) . That much is true even tho you'll never admit it.

Seriously tho, no red tinted glasses here, man. Origi scored 22 goals in two seasons for us in all comps. That is a fact. He is fit to play in the PL as those nos. show. Also I watch Wolfsburg play a lot so that I can actually see with my own eyes how Origi is doing and I have made my assessment. I see you did not dispute any of the facts I put up. That says a lot. I posted facts, not feelings.

Seano, I disagree. CF is the most difficult position to learn and play in from a young age. Origi was scoring at the WC at 18 and has scored 22 goals for us in the two full seasons he was here as he turned 21 and was 3rd choice behind Bobbie and Studge. There is NO striker in the PL with those nos., period. Also, you seem to have forgotten the good games he had when he was fit and firing, bossing the great Mats Hummels vs BVB and scoring in 5 games in a row last season with some great finishes. Inconsistency comes with the position at a young age.

The kid needed to be playing as he is too good and has too much potential to be third choice here which is why he left. If you watch Wolfsburg play like I have a lot this season, you will see what I mean. If you don't then all you have is an opinion, with no facts to back them up.

{Ed025's Note - i know i say it every time brover but its different opinions mate, you cant see anything negative about any player who wears the red shirt and tend to big them up whether they are crap or not, i admire you in a way as im a different character and always look to to the worst in players as i see them as overpaid prima- donnas who are generally stealing a living, i dont see us agreeing on things anytime soon but i can live with that..

14.) 26 Mar 2018 22:40:27
Wrong again, Ed. I have said repeatedly on here that players like Clyne, Matip, Milner, Migs and a few others are not f=good enough for LFC and if we wanna get to the next level, they need to go. I have never blindly defended an LFC player esp. if his ability is lacking and if that is clear for all to see. but as you say, it's diff. opinions and I can live with that as well. Top banter as always, Ed. Let's keep it that way, man.

{Ed025's Note - always mate..

3.) 09 Mar 2018 23:30:22
That's is the best news I've heard since I heard twix were doing two for one. Great news.

Got to agree with Ed 025 there, Gomes was probably one of, if not the best player on the pitch for me. Best midfielder I’ve seen at Everton since probably Areta. I’d of said a draw would of been a fair result aswell but there’s nothing better than a late winner against the Ev.
