Hi Ed's, as always great job on the site during deadline day. Just want to say I believe we have made some shrewd signings under Klopp and I'm looking forward to seeing the new centre backs come in.
Obviously, our midfield will be a lot stronger for the next few months. I'm not sure we will win the league ( Man City) but as long as we finish above Man Utd.
Anyway, my question is what are your thoughts on Naby Keita staying or should we sell in the summer? I don't think he has even played 10 games on the bounce. I know some of the ED's have spoken about his Baditude. Thoughts Reds?

If the Kabak signing does go through, it's beyond shrewd, in my opinion. Clearly masterful. From being unable to buy the CB's we wanted in the summer due to financial constraints (and Kabak was already a target back then) to going to a situation of urgent dire need (therefore, being at your weakest from a negotiating point of view), and yet being able to pull off a loan with no obligation to buy, is really something. Yes, Schalke needs the money too, but still.

You do realize 10 games on the bounce is a lot? Hardly anyone playing centre mid plays 10 games on the bounce, we're not Burnley.

I see a few people have gone for a 5-1 victory against Sevilla. It will be a tight game, champions league teams are not push-overs, stick to playing Fifa boys! On a serious note: I would just like to know what you have been smoking and where can i get some! oops sorry you probably got it from Harry!

We will see footy Dan. That was a bit over the top (5 1) but that's my trademark! I think we will score a few tomorrow. I know seville are not a walk over but neither are arsenal.

5-1? Really? What planet do such people live on? Seville have been a constant in Europe since 2006, winning the EL 5 times and playing the CL much more than we have in that span. They are a perennial top 4 team in Spain with very good players. I suggest people saddle up cos it will be a tough game and they have the players like Nolito, Beyedder and Banega who can hurt us.

I haven't bantered on here for a while but i'm still a daily user! I just wanted to say i'm made up with out league posistion and I think Rodgers has done a great job so far. The kind of football being played at times is breathtaking and reminds me of our golden age in the 80's.
A few of Brendans transfers haven't come through but not all players work out going to a big club like LFC. However I believe his man management skills are very good, however his choice of line up (constent back four changes) frustrates me, but he knows when he is wrong and trys to make changes in the game unlike Rafa.I just hope he can choose a consistant line up in the next crucial games against Spuds, Mancs, Cardiff and Chelski, with the loss of Sturidge and Gerrard players have to step up. If we can get 8 points from the next four games we will have done really well and could realisticly challenge for top three. Ithink it would be great for all Liverpool fans if we could start 2014 with optismism and hope and incorparate that into our lives in general.
Anyway I also wanted to defend some of the players being slagged off. Firstly humans make mistakes, teams win and lose its hard to be perfect so the so called fans that contantly slag of Henderson, Allen and Gerrad on this site are just sheep! BAAA
I said when Rodgers took over we will win the league within 3-4 years, well I believe he is on tack.Keep believe people YNWA

Ive just seen an interview with john arne risse saying he may leave on a free this summer.I was a season ticket holder when Risse was playing, thought he was a cracking player.Just wanna know if people think he would be a good free back up for left back. Thoughts anyone?

Great post dude, I agree that we don't need to replace Pipco immediately. I am also gutted that he has left, particularly in mid season! Your post got me thinking about other players that have left us in the past and how gutted I was. So let's play a game people, what player made you feel the most gutted when they left?
For me it has to be Torres; leaving and in the manner he did and to our biggest rivals at the time. i even banned the Mrs from mentioning his name in the house!
