markovic on loan to sporting?

grajac

{Ed002's Note - It is looking like it can be done. The baulked at the asking price for a transfer but would like a loan with an option to buy at a reasonalble price. His agent is elsewhere right now but a third party negotiating the deal is confident it will go ahead.}

1.) 31 Aug 2016 18:55:08
that's good give him a chance after we messed him around yet another of Rogers kids that had their career halted.

2.) 31 Aug 2016 21:02:27
Why, forget injuries but mane and his pace will be gone in January. Could do with msrkovic and his.

We already own him and probably paying some of his wages whilst on loan, why not keep him and see what he learns from klopp and coaches. Settles in with the likes of grujic and trains with mane.

Mane goes and this whole summer goes.

3.) 31 Aug 2016 21:57:36
@Supermane

I disagree, when Mane is unavailable Ojo can cover capably - he's quick and direct and very highly rated.

Don't be so dramatic.

Markovich also deserves the chance to rebuild his career elsewhere after BR messed him about.

4.) 01 Sep 2016 00:27:53
maybe we should have left markovic where he came from for a couple of years to develop. its a shame how things have turned out for him so far.

5.) 01 Sep 2016 15:08:52
Didn't they move the ACON to the summer?

6.) 05 Sep 2016 20:01:20
I doubt that because as an African who grew up in Nigeria, it is the rainy season and trust me when it rains, it POURS down there in the Motherland.

31 Aug 2016 17:32:07
Ed 01 do you think spurs will come in for lallana after they've failed in getting their targets recently.

grajac

{Ed001's Note - no, I think they moved on a while ago mate due to the price. Levy will not go above the price he believes is correct.}

1.) 31 Aug 2016 17:46:27
thanks for the reply Ed . I was hoping a late move for him and one for us . oh well deadline day not going to be much fun tonight on sky then.

2.) 31 Aug 2016 18:07:15
Levy is an eejit then.
Surely for a player you just pay way over the odds?

3.) 31 Aug 2016 18:40:07
I'm sure that was sarcasm Agger.

Chillwell?

4.) 31 Aug 2016 20:32:28
It was Zeddicus.

19 Aug 2016 19:14:18
lazio in for balo? surely not.

grajac

1.) 19 Aug 2016 21:29:02
Too good to be true .

10 Aug 2016 20:50:24
hi eds is anyone in for markovic maybe a loan.

grajac

{Ed001's Note - there was a little interest, but, last I heard, nothing was close.}

1.) 10 Aug 2016 21:53:44
thanks for the response Ed .

{Ed001's Note - welcome.}

06 Feb 2016 16:57:54
Ed001 if your available can you please confirm that come next summer we will of got a new keeper, yet another mistake!

grajac

{Ed001's Note - I expect that to be the number one priority.}

1.) 06 Feb 2016 17:10:04
I really would give Ward a game.

2.) 06 Feb 2016 17:11:19
How many points has Mignolet cost us this season? Our defence was hopeless. The only plus point today was we know Firmino is not a flop.

3.) 06 Feb 2016 17:22:10
kwkhong, I just saw this posted.

‪#‎Mignolet‬ has now cost Liverpool an approximate 15 points this season.
[via Squawka] ‪#‎LFC‬

Now it's all subjective but it gives you a rough idea.

4.) 06 Feb 2016 17:23:10
Firmno was the only positive in the game, our defence is terrible.

5.) 06 Feb 2016 17:38:45
Thanks for that ed, can't wait, it's getting embarrassing.

6.) 06 Feb 2016 17:54:12
Whilst I agree we need a new number one, maybe he was distracted today.

{Ed001's Note - bull. That is an embarrassing excuse for the worst keeper in the Prem.}

7.) 06 Feb 2016 18:32:38
Ed1 what was the new contract about? I really don't understand that at all. He is seriously the wirst GK in the prem. his kicking even when he's not under pressure never finds it's man.
The team needs a serious overhaul, only guys who should play is clyne coutinho firminho sturridge and can maybe.

{Ed001's Note - it was a terrible mistake.}

8.) 06 Feb 2016 19:07:38
Eds, we are so good at pulling out of deals why didn't we pull out of this one? Ian defo plays jenga on the first date! Fans are on the brink, another thing why the hell was DS on the bench when we had no intention of playing him? Another PR spin! 3 spins in 3 weeks is a joke (tickets, Teix and now sturridge) Extremely poor buy klopp too keep the same team even moreno wtf? Your telling me flanno would not have made sure the team was up for that while the fans were walking out? Instead he's sat on the bench! What is going on? No heart, no fight, no good!

9.) 06 Feb 2016 19:27:04
Why did we recall Ward?

10.) 06 Feb 2016 20:07:09
Klopp, get Mingo out of our club ASAP. What you were thinking when you gave the poorest excuse of a GK a new contract in spite of all the goals he's cost us approaching double digits, we we will never know. But this is your mistake and it is now your job to fix it. A GK is supposed to get better with age but with Mingo, it is the opposite. Get rid of him and get Ward in now so we can see what he has.

11.) 06 Feb 2016 20:10:40
He got you a point against spurs!

12.) 06 Feb 2016 20:51:49
But has cost us 15 points this season so what's your point, Winston?

13.) 06 Feb 2016 21:11:26
It looked like he had the ball and still let it trickle into his own net. It looked like he just stood there looking at the second goal, though the defenders have to do better there, Defoe shouldn't have been able to receive the ball never mind turn and shoot with it.

{Ed001's Note - he defo had the first one, it was embarrassing.}

14.) 07 Feb 2016 01:28:11
Bogdan made two mistakes and he's been totally and completely dropped. Literally turfed.

Mignolet makes two or more mistakes a game, and has regularly cost us games. Also literally.

Needs to be dropped to the bench and sold in the summer.

Fans saying he's "bang average"; he's not even that. Vito Mannone is an average GK and he was far superior to Mignolet today. Countless big saves from strikes in close.

A "bang average" GK would make those basic saves today that Mignolet failed at today.

15.) 07 Feb 2016 01:34:17
I've never been called Winston before, I'm quite flattered.

He hasn't coat you 15 points at all, what a load of rubbish. The fact is Liverpool aren't very good and your probably where you should be with the quality of players you have. He has also saved you some points.

What are you saying, that you should be two points above spurs, three behind Leicester? Stop moaning, Goalkeepers make mistakes, deal with it. Blame the team.

16.) 07 Feb 2016 08:03:54
Who is saying we should be two behind Leicester and three behind Spurs? Only you by the looks of things.

Keeping the ball out of the net is not the only job required from a keeper. Commanding your area, communicating with the back four, positioning, footwork, dealing with crosses from set pierces and from corners, playing the ball out from goal and giving your back four confidence.

Outside of shot stopping in certain games, Migs fails miserably in all of the above mentioned. I sit behind the goal and see this week in week out.

You are talking complete tosh Whiston.

{Ed001's Note - when did he ever gain us any points? When has his shotstopping ever consisted of doing anything other than making an easy save look difficult? The guy is a liability. Whiston is just a troll who has clearly never even seen him play or he would know his comments border on insane.}

17.) 07 Feb 2016 08:27:25
Exactly Ed 001 he hasn't gained us anything

When you look at how many points De Gea gained an average Manchester United last season, the two keepers are opposite ends of the spectrum, worlds apart. Our keeper has cost us points.

Should have realised he was a troll and not replied on this Sunday morning.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend Ed1.

{Ed001's Note - only a troll could possibly deny Mignolet is costing us points!}

18.) 07 Feb 2016 09:39:14
Maybe the goal keeping coach needs sacking too!

19.) 07 Feb 2016 13:28:03
Whiston, your post is pathetic. In case up don't know, if a GK or outfield player, makes an individual mistake and a goal is scored, it's that player's fault. Plain and simple. Blaming the team for his mistakes is a poor excuse of defending a GK and your pathetically lame defence doesn't even pass the laugh test. He's not even an average GK. He is bang terrible and we will win nothing with him. Every big team aspiring to win things have gk's who win them games like Courtois, Cech, Lloris, De Gea, the lot. None of these teams have gk's that wins game/ points for the other team like Mingo. Mingo won't even make the bench at Chelsea because of Courtois and Begovic are far superior to him. He has cost us goals approaching the double digits this season and stats suggest he has cost us 15 points this season alone. HE cost us points vs Sunderland with his error and that is a fact. Deal with that, genius! N btw, the GK coach needs sacking as well.

20.) 07 Feb 2016 21:49:10
Dan said that according to squawka Mignolet has cost you approximately 15 points. Add those 15 points to your total and that takes you between spurs and Leicester doesn't it. It ain't rocket science.

You don't moan when he makes good saves do you?

Nick, some of us have better things to do than to come on here on a Sunday morning just to respond to your whingeing, I have replied when it suits me.

21.) 08 Feb 2016 02:24:51
On lfctv they where talking about Liverpool concided 26 goals and 21 of them have been scored from the frist shot on goal. That has to be the kepers fauls no.

22.) 08 Feb 2016 11:33:56
And the colossus that is Sahko needs to follow Mignolet shortly after.

In fact, I'd only keep the following players (that play regularly) :

Clyne - solid, if unspectacular. Been half decent.

Henderson - our best midfielder but a long way from Liverpool captain I'm afraid. Never in a million years captain material.

Can - there's a player there somewhere.

Firmino - showing a few signs, especially lately.

Coutinho - our best player by a country mile.

Ibe - certainly raw talent that can be developed.

The rest just don't cut the mustard I'm sorry (other than DS) . Bang average at best.

{Ed001's Note - and Clyne is not average? Really????}

23.) 08 Feb 2016 12:44:21
Yep - I would say he's average/ good compared to other RB's in the league. Certainly not a world beater for sure.

24.) 08 Feb 2016 19:13:13
Clyne is solid enough ed

Migs on the other hand has conceded 63% of shots at him this season Klopp should have never gave him a new contract ever put the fear of God in me.

just reading on the European pages that Ricardo Pereira is available for around 25 mil euros seems a great price how come we have cooled our interest in such a good player in a football world that quotes silly figures for players including us. !

grajac

1.) 02 Jul 2017 21:28:04
Completely agreed, brilliant player who's value will only increase but I think as he's right footed and we are primarily looking for a LB, the interest has been shelved for now.

2.) 03 Jul 2017 11:13:34
Why we have not signed him is a complete mystery to me?

{Ed002's Note - Interet moved on - you know that.}

03 May 2017 20:02:13
Ed01 if your around could you give us the likely team line up for next season . i know this request will likely get deleted but its worth a punt.

grajac

{Ed001's Note - I am not sure how I could possibly do that, the current season hasn't even finished yet! Perhaps someone could loan me a crystal ball?}

1.) 03 May 2017 20:47:08
Sure Ed but I want 3 crystal balls back.

{Ed001's Note - Ed003 has crystal balls apparently.}

2.) 03 May 2017 21:47:51
Whilst you're at it ed, can I have next weeks lottery numbers.

Cheers 👍.

3.) 04 May 2017 00:09:48
I think Brandt will be in for Coutinho, with Sessegnon in for Moreno.

After that i think we can only speculate right now. Maybe we will target replacements for Mignolet, Clyne, Lucas and Sturridge if they leave. It is far from certain they will leave.

I think anyone hoping for a mega summer with the likes of Van Dijk, Keita and Lacazette will be sorely disappointed though!

4.) 04 May 2017 11:52:30
Pure speculation but I would say:

Goalkeeper: expect Karius to start and be given a chance (though mistakes could see a similar scenario to this season play out) - I doubt we'll sign a GK or sell Mignolet. Ward will probably move on.

Defence: sadly seems Lovren/ Matip is the preferred partnership - I have huge doubts over them, both individually and as a partnership, and know against certain opposition they will struggle. Perhaps a season for Gomez to stake a claim. It seems almost certain that Sakho's days are numbered. Klavan will likely stay despite being below the required standard.

Surely we will sign a left-back this window - names are well known and have been discussed in detail on here (Sessegnon, Pereira, Tierney - though very unlikely) - the only way we won't sign one is through poor strategy/ bad planning. Right-back more tricky but I'm hopeful we will see more of TAA next season - or perhaps the versatile Pereira if we manage to get the transfer over the line (? ) .

Midfield: I'd argue, when everyone is fully fit, that it will be exactly the same (Henderson, Wijnaldum, Lallana) - if Can continues his recent good form he may push for a starting berth but otherwise I imagine it will remain unchanged - Henderson's ongoing injury problems mean more game time for Can is likely next season. Grujic will also have to be played more so will be interesting to see how he fits in. The unlikely signing of Naby Keita could change things as well though it might be overkill. I could see Coutinho shifting to central midfield if we sign Brandt or another such winger as well so possibility of more options - again though remains to be seen what we do in the transfer window.

Forwards: Unless Coutinho leaves it will likely remain exactly the same (Coutinho, Firmino, Mane) with a new winger signed to provide depth and competition.

5.) 04 May 2017 13:42:27
MK, we are trying to get Brandt in to add to the squad with Couts stating BUT he is not open to being on the bench if Couts will still be first choice on the left. He is not Couts' replacement as LFC will NOT be selling him.

6.) 04 May 2017 22:48:51
If Rons having next week's can I have the week afters Ed? Don't like the thought of splitting my winnings ha while we're doing obscure questions, any chance of Confirming my tea for me on the 16th March 2022?

so the owners are holding liverpool back.

grajac

{Ed025's Note - FSG do not have unlimited funds im afraid grajac, holding you back is a bit harsh as i think they are doing their best and have paid off a lot of debt as well as improved the stadium and bought players, some supporters wont be happy unless liverpool are buying players for sqilllions of pounds and paying them ridiculous wages mate..
