Hi guys. I own a pub and id like to offer franklymrshankly a job.
He would be ideal to help clear the place at closing time.
So if you can fit it in inbetween your time volunteering at the local Samaritans call centre let me know. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

1.) 05 Aug 2017 13:59:36
It may surprise you to hear that my favourite bands are Radiohead, The Smiths and Joy Division.

2.) 05 Aug 2017 15:11:53
Nice one Kenneth. employ him, soon as you want everyone out you just get frankly to go round talking to the punters, not only will they leave but t they won't be coming back. they'll be so depressed they'll be topping themselves.

3.) 05 Aug 2017 15:23:00
3 superb bands frankly I can't argue with your music tastes, but have a bit more faith about liverpools chances for the upcoming season, we could have plenty to look forward to at home and in Europe, btw im listening to soundgarden's fell on black days as I write this, yet im still positive about all things Liverpool fc.

4.) 05 Aug 2017 16:10:39
I have absolutely no faith is us at all this season. There's no reason to think we'll win anything as we aren't good enough.

5.) 05 Aug 2017 16:46:55
This will be a quiet site soon, nothing to comment on as so many believe the season is over already
Players have gone and gone before and will continue to go so.
Such fickle fans we are.

Hi all. I'm a Manchester United fan positing in peace.
I'm so glad that today's verdict has come at last.
Those 96 families will never get their loved ones back but tonight i hope they all sleep easier in their beds if even for 1 night.
Football rivalry on the pitch and terraces does not extend to a lack of humanity and unacceptable behaviour.
This is a battle against the authorities where I stood shoulder to shoulder with Liverpool supporters in the hope that it was a battle they would win.
I'm so glad they did.

1.) 26 Apr 2016 18:42:41
That means a lot Ken fair play.

2.) 26 Apr 2016 19:37:12
Well said ken. Greatest respect to you.

3.) 26 Apr 2016 21:05:57
Appreciated Ken, all the best on behalf of all concerned.

Hi all. I am a Manchester United fan posting in peace.
I would like to say congratulations to your fans for what you all achieved by taking the action some of you did.
I admire the way you got your owners to see sense and back down and change their policy.
It's one in the eye for all owners and looking at the Bigger picture you have done a big favour for supporters of all clubs and football in general.
Well done.
Cheers. Ken.

1.) 11 Feb 2016 18:09:37
Fair play to ya . still hope ya season gets worse though. Lol :-P.

2.) 11 Feb 2016 18:31:43
Oh great ken is still posting :)

{Ed001's Note - shouldn't you be busy running round preparing for your impending doom Christopher?}

3.) 11 Feb 2016 18:38:21
Well Chris nice of you to noticeπŸ˜†.

4.) 11 Feb 2016 18:42:53
Just leaving time stamps everywhere so I can go back to when I was once a happy, amazingly good looking, witty, young man Tristan (trissy) :)

After all in 2 months I'm going to be a tied down, amazingly good looking, witty young man.

{Ed001's Note - oh I am sorry, I thought this was a different Chris, obviously made a mistake. Congratulations on finding the right chemicals to confuse her enough to agree to marry you mate, it must have taken some doing.}

5.) 11 Feb 2016 18:52:04
No u got the right one, u can tell it's me with my unforgiving charm and unmistakable wit!

How's yours coming along pal?

{Ed001's Note - I certainly have never forgiven myself for talking to you!

It could be going better, money issues have meant we have had to put it back for now.}

6.) 11 Feb 2016 18:55:42
Should you not be having a love in with dags on the arsenal page? πŸ˜….

7.) 11 Feb 2016 18:57:02
For a great time with the ladies. Rohypnol!

8.) 11 Feb 2016 19:12:08
Haha what are u talking about, just being associated with me has made your life much more relevant.

Oh no mate that really sucks, I tried pulling that one then she found my bank card. Β£1800 for a bloody wedding dress!

Ken, I'm far more man than dags could ever handle, plus I speak sense which is a non requirement for arsenal fans :)

{Ed001's Note - Β£1800? My eyes are watering just thinking about that!}

9.) 11 Feb 2016 19:13:39
Oh and how is your friend by the way mate? After what u and your daughter gave up u deserve some luck yourself. So I'm sending your positive thoughts pal.

{Ed001's Note - good news is he is on the mend, no need for bone marrow transplant after all right now. Fingers crossed it stays that way, I need someone who is worse than me at COD to stop my daughter laughing at me all the time when we play!}

10.) 11 Feb 2016 19:26:12
My eldest just hates me playing cod on his 360 cause I apparently give him a bad rep with my skills.

That's bloody brilliant news mate, let's hope he stays on the mend.

My eyes started watering a few months ago when I checked my account I tell u. I even rang the bank to see if I'd been frauded turns out I had but by the Mrs.

{Ed001's Note - trust me, she deserves every penny she takes off you for putting up with you. She is a hero keeping you off the streets and away from other women for their own good. That is what you call taking one for the team....}

11.) 11 Feb 2016 19:32:09
Oh she don't know how bloody lucky she is!

There's only one hero in my relationship and then there's her.

{Ed001's Note - you seemed to have missed a couple of letters off there Chris - U and N.}

Hi all,
I am a Man Utd fan posting on your page in peace!
I read this page daily as its one of the most active club pages and I admire some of your regular posters and always enjoy reading what Ed001 has to say
I for 1 respect LFC and the clubs great history and if I had my choice I would rather be competing with Lpool for the major honours every season rather than chelsea / Arsenal/ city as the games are the ones I look forward to most. If I had a choice of playing lpool in a champions league final I would choose them over a glamour tie v barca real madrid or Bayern
A couple of your regulars came to the United page yesterday in Big Al and Rob B which is great to see as they had been shoting their mouths off pre and early season about only 1 United player might get into the lpool team, and that Lallana was better than di maria and balo was better than a washed up RVP and that Rooney was finished oh and that Sterling was world class. so fair play for not burying their heads in the sand and coming to eat a little humble pie
My analysis is pretty much like ourselves last year your manager is not getting the best out of the players he has at his disposal our starting 11 yesterday were all at the disposal of Mr Moyes last year but he was failing to get anything like the best from those players, so I think the earlier you make the call to release Brenda the better as a different face and voice would get more from the lads in your squad
2) I think its time to call time on Steie G being the team captain and a regular starter, we had the same with scholes/ neville / fletcher etc. all are heros and all are 1 club men but there is a time to call it. OK scholes played a little longer as he never really was all over the pitch but there is a time when their presence becomes more of a hinderance than a positive.
3) The one thing I admire about Liverpool was the atmosphere especially on european football nights but watching young your final champions league game silence. I genuinely believe that if you created the atmosphere of the last 10 mins throughout the whole game Basle would have folded. I understand the players have to give you something to shout about but if they are struggling the onus is on the supporters to lift the team and its been a long time since I heard so little from an anfield
Genuinely not on here to gloat today fellas as I would rather Liverpool finished 2nd in everything every year (to us obviously).
We are not playing great this season but are improving and I think we will get better still if our injury woes ease up just a little.
In order to qualify for CL next year you will need to win the Europa cup i believe you need to change the manager to make that happen.
Klopp is in the relegation zone in Germany having spent less only than Bayern in the last 5 seasons he could be the answer he is a top manager going through a difficult period hope your owners are as good as most of you seem to believe

1.) 15 Dec 2014 13:13:00
Nice post ken, and much appreciated with peace.

Disagree on the first point: no one is competing with chelsea and city and wouldn't for another 10 years, both would go along for quiet a long time into future.

Agree on Gerrard : should hang up his boots, not going to get his PL medal which he deserves it. Can't see it happening.

Disagree on Basel game: no shots on goal till 60 mts at home. We were poor and deserved to go down.

Like your case every new manager would need time to get things going, I am not sure do we have time and finances for it.

But nevertheless nice to see a honest post mate.

2.) 15 Dec 2014 13:45:49
Hi Passion
City and Chelsea are not that far ahead mate. Look at their rsults closely especially in CL. They are doing just enough, take cesc and costa outta chelsea this year and they are typically mourhinio efficient and hard to breakdown,
Take aguero outta city and its much the same.
City 2 1 nils in last 2 against really poor opposition

You would be a lot better with sturridge so that is a mitagating factor.

The grass always look much greener over the fence when you are going through a tough time but they are not miles ahead not by a long way. There is much more improvement to come from arsenal United and lpool than there is to come from City or chelsea.
This season I expect them to see it through between but next season I expect us to get our trophy back :)

3.) 15 Dec 2014 14:11:26
ken let's be honest,take rooney and rvp out of utd and your left with a good pub team,anyways its a bit silly talking about "if you took such and such out of a team blah blah blah"if they are with a club they are the team

4.) 15 Dec 2014 16:01:23
I agree in part and yes all teams have injuries but if the injuries are to key personelle for sustained periods then its a mitagating circumstance. In your case studge. Chelsea have so far not had any sustained injuries to key star personelle and if they do their results will begin to disimprove slightly, they have been fortunate this season in that regard, you may see city slip a little without aguero no nore than without Messi and Neymar goals this year barca would be 5th from bottom. when Messi got injured last year they won nothing (they were not a bad side but were not a great one without him.

1/2 players make the difference between winning and losing at the top level. Barca this year have had the luxuary of naming them every week

5.) Sorry Ken, but as a Chelsea fan I'd have to disagree with you. I don't think we're necessarily that far ahead of you but I don't think we'd fail if we lost Costa and Fabregas to injury.
The majority of last season we challenged for the title and that was without Fabregas and Costa. Both Remy and Drogba are better than the strikers we had last season, so if we were to lose Costa/Fab to injury I don't think we'd drop off.
Finally if you look at our injury record over the last 3 or 4 seasons, we've hardly ever sustained injuries to key players for long periods. So I wouldn't call us fortunate, it's clearly got something to do with either our medical department or the fitness program we have.

6.) 16 Dec 2014 02:18:48
The Word - Di Maria, Shaw, De Gea, Falcao, Carrick - good pub players?

Seriously, I know you're still hurting, but open your eyes, mate.

Most have never seen him play other than videos or u tube highlights.
He is well regarded by a lot of people within the game but the epl is like playing a different sport at times so you never know how its going to work iut for players in the epl even when they have obvious potential.

Finished as a player as soon as the back pass was outlawed.

{Ed001's Note - if you mean Hansen, that is nonsense. His career was finished when his knees gave out. He had played for about ten years on dodgy knees and retired due to them. The backpass rule was never an issue for him, he was good enough to cope with it, he was a class apart.}

For me there are 2 tyoes of cdm
A) a deep lying playmaker such as veratti
B) a destructive player who sits behind everybody and is snuffing out attacks and supports from behind when in possesion
Matic and cassimero

Kante keita atr both box to box
So i would choose matic veratti and casimero.

Godin and chillini as the 2 old heads and bailly and varane are the 2 that i believe will be the best cbs in world football over next 5 years.
Alderwield and kompany are also outstanding imo.
