With the last few days of silly season happening, can I please urge a sense of calmness.

Can we please also not bombard the Ed's with minute by minute requests re: Fekir updates too! If he wants to join great, if Liverpool want him great, all we have to do is put an appropriate offer down and sit down with the players agent etc.

Questioning the Ed's and arguing with them will not make this transfer happen, so once again. keep a sense of calm people.

{Ed025's Note - good idea that donovan..

That’s like shouting ‘don’t panic’ as one of your aeroplanes engines goes up in flames. great idea in principle but unlikely to happen in practise 😂.

I agree ldonovan. At this stage we should just wait and see. There’s I my 2 days left and the media are just trying to whip up a frenzy for dreads deadline day. I think as LFC fans we should just sit back and relax knowing that we’ve had a good window and we can look forward to a great season.

SG, you put forward quite the counter argument. It would seem a few disagree with my calmness approach too!

Razor, I agree mate, the window has been as good as we have had I think. Of course we would all like more, but we also need to be realists here.

Let’s see what the next few days hold! I still think there’s something big happening at a few of our rivals which could in essence make our transfer window seem even better, but again who knows. As long as I win the fantasy football league, that’s what I’m more bothered about!

I agree with you. I think we’ve had a great transfer window and have improved our starting 11 and the weaker positions. I think our main priority is to maybe offload a feeble players so that if we need to we can improve in January.
I think now a lot is down to our rivals. Chelsea do they sell Courtois, if they get Kovacic on loan that’s will be a great signing for them. Still feel they need a different striker option to what they have. Spurs are they going to buy anyone? Man U can they keep pogba are they going to get a centre back. The success of a transfer window will always ultimately be decided compared to your rivals. We have no doubt improved our team and at the moment much more than any of our rivals.

Great way to stop people talking about fekir. Don't panic, don't panic.

Totally agree Bobby. Too often we have been dictated to by other clubs and by players who want away. I'm not saying be unrealistic with our fees but let's have fees in mind and stick to it. Let's remember these players are being paid well and understood the demands of the role upon entering the contract in the first place.

Milner or Gini for me, two squad players who have really stepped up and shown that competition for places is alive and well currently. Fingers crossed this competition remains as it can only be a healthy thing for us as a team in terms of performance on the pitch.
