Apparently, within the last hour Egyptian radio reported Salah to undergo medical tomorrow.

We have three players, not world class, but good players, Milner, Lucas and Sturridge. the rest are just not good enough if they were, they wouldn't be playing for Liverpool. Here in lies the problem, just not good enough!

Eh?
Coutinho? Firmino? Not good enough?

2.) 23 Aug 2016 01:21:23
Sarcastically mocking those who are going overboard with criticism, clever, or at least I hope so, otherwise you're clinically insane.

3.) 23 Aug 2016 01:31:31
Not yet anyway. Inconsistent and over-hyped. May i remind you of the Euro final, as i said not good enough!

4.) 23 Aug 2016 01:42:22
really only 3 players and you include one who is jack of all and master of none, the other one made of glass and the most selfish player I have seen in a while and the other one again injured 80% of the time.

5.) 23 Aug 2016 01:53:05
How are Lucas and Milner deemed good enough? Lucas is nowhere near the first team and Milner is playing at left back because he had no chance of playing in the midfield. Baffling how you would think those two average players are our best players.

Four question marks Ron, my sentiments exactly!

7.) 23 Aug 2016 02:21:31
Coutinho may go missing in the odd game but clearly an exceptional talent, Firmino is excellent, Sturridge is outstanding, Hendo has suffered from injuries but a machine in the box to box role when fit, Can is young but very talented, Origi likewise, Karius and Matip are young but were voted two of the best in the Bundesliga, Mane is clearly special etc. etc. so while you may say we have a young squad, it's incorrect to say it doesn't have enough talent.

If we have the patience, then we have the building blocks for a title winning team if we can only avoid panicking and insisting on replacing every player after every poor game. Patience, training, development through top coaching, consistency in selection are all more important than anything else right now.

We all have our opinions on how things can be done better, who we'd bring in to strengthen, why we need a new LB, and that's fair enough for banter pages but I have zero patience for those who expect the entire squad to be replaced after every game/ mistake.

Lucas over Hendo any day in defensive mid.

That's a mighty big spoon you have Jan! 😅😅.

Think we may have something very special in young Sterling, hope we can keep hold of him!

Earlier I posed the question ''Is Rodgers truly one of us'', Old big ears deemed this rhetorical statement unfair, he's entitled to his opinion but the fact remains, the players are paid to buy into Rodgers, i'm not! There's a certain insincerity about the man, I don't entirely trust him and as Ozone has pointed out, I'm not alone in this suspicion. Is he LFC for life, I doubt it, whenever the top Spanish job comes along he'll be off in a flash as bright as his denture razzle. Is he one of us, only time will tell but I for one will not be holding my breath!

Not as high a press as us Ed, check the stats!

molbysmetronome

{Ed001's Note - if that is what you want to tell yourself, you carry on. I am sure you can read any old crap into stats that you want, but simply it is not true that we play the highest press in the world. Oh and we suffer a lot less injuries than many teams that play no press at all, such as Arsenal. So please quit with this complete hokum.}

As you say 'Math'CL is a different ball game. CL teams don't play like Burnley or Westbrom so with Studge being a 'fantastic' striker (look at his international strike rate recently) he would thrive. Studge is not the problem, injuries aside its Klopps high press. The whole squad are regularly injured. Studge is class and the high press is not the only way!

molbysmetronome

{Ed001's Note - the press is not the cause of injuries. Plenty of teams play a high press without suffering injury problems.}

As soon as Ings is back up to full speed i expect Studge himself will look to move on. Maybe next season!
