Any truth in the interest in Marko Pjaca?
Are there any new players Liverpool have become interested in?

{Ed002's Note - Inter were looking for a January deal for Dinamo Zagreb's Marko Pjaca and will push again in the summer but will have to contend with interest from Milan, Benfica, Juventus and possibly PSG, as well as needing to make space in the squad - and that space would need to come from the sale of Marco Perisic. A number of other sides have also had the player watched this season but I remain of the opinion that it will be Milan will prioritise the player and will look for a deal before Inter are able to sell Perisic. Juventus could yet seek talks.}

Morning Ed. I posted a little while ago about this.
Surely us as pundits, fans critics. Etc can see that 1 Migs wasn't up to the standard required to make us a title challenging team.
We also know that the coach as you have said is a nicer guy as he is isn't doing what's required of him.
I can't see that Klopp doesn't see it either. Just baffling as to why (as yet) there has been no change?

Is it a bit sad that I'm more excited at the prospect of pinching United's goalkeeper coach than any of the players we might bring in?! We must make this happen! Start a petition, or organise a march! We need to let the owners know we mean business!

So it looks like we are signing Allisson I haven't really seen him play, I was wondering if anybody who has seen him play think that he is much of an upgrade on our current goalkeeping options?

He’s probably one of the best keepers in the world.
We all love stats here so here’s some:
Pass accuracy: Alisson 79% karius 67% Migs 69%
League shots saved: Alisson 79% karius 69% Migs 59%
Clean sheets in league: Alisson 17 in 37, karius 10 in 19 Migs 7 in 19
I think he will tighten up the defence and make it a lot less error prone and less likely to concede silly late goals, especially as the signing of Fabinho gives the defence more protection and the signing of Shaqiri gives us an option to bring on up front to keep the opposition pinned back.

He's a HUGE upgrade mate, the lad is probably in the top 5 of best goalkeepers out there, in my opinion he is anyway.

I see him as a slightly better and obviously much bigger version of Reina. Great distibution for counter attacks, good sweeping, great reflexes and most importantly confidence.

i Wouldn’t say top 5 as I think De Gea, Courtois, Ter Stegen, Neuer and Oblak are better. Potentially Buffon and Lloris are ahead but he’s in the mix with them three for 6th spot. Very good keeper, only concern I have is that he seems to parry the ball into the ‘danger’ area after making a save, but that might be down to coaching. But he is a massive upgrade on what we currently have!

Leon have you actually watched him, there was not many times last season that he parriesd the ball into the danger area at all. I think A stat I read on him that his errors leading to goals is nil. If he was putting it back into danger surely that would be higher.
He is on par with deGea (If not better) for shot stopping and not far behind Neuer for his sweeping abilities. So I would say top 3 in the world and of he continues on this path will be number 1 by a country mile.
There is a swagger about him, so calm and composed and can read the game superbly. He will be like having a 12th man on the field, one hell of a brick wall and an excellent sweeper.
I really feel for Karius but so pleased with this purchase, this window has seen the fine tuning in the areas that cost us dearly the last couple of seasons. This elusive league may be finally within reach.

I never said that him parrying the ball led to goals as the ball was dealt with but from what I’ve seen he does tend to parry the ball into that area. I aren’t for one minute saying he’s a bad goalkeeper at all as he is truly a world class goalkeeper. Personally I think he is best keeper in the world with the ball at his feet which suits us down to the ground so him signing is all good with me.

I am going to see the LFC v Spurs match in Feb it’ll be my first match at Anfield (can’t wait) and was wondering if any of the eds or posters had any suggestions of good places to go near the stadium pubs with a good atmosphere etc. Also does anyone have any recommendations of places to stay for a couple of nights? My favourite pub that is literally right next to the stadium is the Sandon. It's quality.
Whenever i stay up there, I've stayed in Hatters Hostel. It's filthy cheap, but take a padlock so you can secure your things in the cage under the bed, because you share a room with about 20 people 😂
First time i ever stayed there, a couple of polish girls were in the bunk bed next to me, and they just stripped completely naked and got into bed right in front of me 😂 it's an experience, let me tell you. There is a big pay and display car park near by if you're driving, but it's also near to the train station (and it's less than £10 for a taxi to the stadium) . If you want cost efficiency, it's top of the list. Literally about £17 a night last time i went. You even get a basic breakfast included and there is a shower room if you're as brave as the lasses from Poland. Don't go there if you have any shred of class or dignity about you though 😂.

Paying £20 million more for keita now seems ridiculous, i bet there's a quality midfielder out there in the region of £20 million or maybe a bit more than we can get now as well as keita in the summer!
