Just read a small article on the possibility of Woodburn going to villa on loan. Apparently the transfer ban should be lifted.
No idea if true just passing on what I read.

1.) 29 Jul 2018 18:25:13
Is that the best place for him at the moment? Thought there were problems after failure to get promotion.

2.) 29 Jul 2018 18:26:37
And cheers for that Walter mate. Should have said that.

3.) 29 Jul 2018 18:32:57
Maybe an edd can confirm but I believe they have had some cash injection from investors.

{Ed002's Note - It is not quite like that.}

4.) 29 Jul 2018 19:02:38
Is it a good move for the young lad, if it happens in your opinion ed2.

{Ed002's Note - It gives him experience at a good level and as long as Liverpool have a plan for him it makes sense.}

5.) 29 Jul 2018 19:09:07
It may be good character building playing in a team that’s up against it. if he shines it will be credit to him.

6.) 29 Jul 2018 19:40:40
Cheers ed. Let’s hope it does him the world of good. Have a nice evening.

7.) 29 Jul 2018 19:55:39
Good luck to the lad, personally I think he'll shine there, fingers crossed! good to hear that he's going out on loan though because he'd of been doing bugger all at Liverpool this season. If he cracks on and does well at Villa it'll be interesting, same goes for Wilson.

The season of 19/ 20 could be very interesting for them two lads making their breakthrough to our first team, we can only hope.

8.) 29 Jul 2018 20:17:04
If he's going to Villa, I think it's not just a great loan for him, but for them also. They need someone to push them up a level, and I wouldn't put it past the lad to provide that for them. I think he's the one exception to needing a premier league loan. Villa is potentially the ideal loan.

9.) 29 Jul 2018 21:18:03
Up against it?
Villa have a budget that far exceeds that of most Championship clubs, including Cardiff. They shouod be one of the high flying ckubs playing well.
Is he Grealish's replacement possibly.

31 May 2018 13:45:28
Kloop to real Madrid? I've just had two calls saying it's happening tonight by 7pm. I can't find anything in news etc.

1.) 31 May 2018 14:07:42
Christ i hope not.

2.) 31 May 2018 14:08:10
Vintage Negative 😍😍.

3.) 31 May 2018 14:10:41
Genuinely made me laugh out loud.

4.) 31 May 2018 14:14:10

5.) 31 May 2018 14:18:03
load of rubbish, hearing more of Wenger not too sure about that one.

6.) 31 May 2018 14:18:10
2 calls from who? Mancs? Blue noses? Klopp?

7.) 31 May 2018 14:42:04
Must be the “conspiracy” Ed002 mentioned. Klopp to Madrid and Buvač to return to LFC as manager. Zidane to take over as Director of Football Ops. Also, a direct swap of BBC for Mané, Firmino, and Salah.

8.) 31 May 2018 14:57:13
Stranger things happen but that did make me laugh
Up the pool.

9.) 31 May 2018 16:01:15
Must be true if you’ve had two calls 🤫 or two people winding you up as they know how gullible you are!

10.) 31 May 2018 16:12:25
Was a genuine post. My 2 mates surpport Newcastle and West ham. I think they must be on a wind up I've not seen any news on this.

11.) 31 May 2018 16:21:18
Is this the conspiracy that ed 002 mentioned we would be talking about mid afternoon?

12.) 31 May 2018 17:09:12
I actually heard about Klopp being a possibility to Madrid back in February I think it was and this came from an old German footballer who is trapps agent (keeper at PSG)
But a lot has changed since then and few were in a good place to keep Klopp I would Madrid will try Wenger short term 1-2 years then look to promote Guti or go for Pochetino.

13.) 31 May 2018 17:19:29
You are a bloody legend Walter hahaha! I needed that laugh!

14.) 31 May 2018 18:05:11
Who is Kloop?

15.) 31 May 2018 18:46:32
Klopp won't leave until he thinks he's taken Liverpool as far as he can. This is definitely not now. He's building a dream team here. Champions league loss will hurt him for sure. just like it's hurting us. But he knows how close he is now.

16.) 31 May 2018 22:38:12
2 calls is the new “2 ticks”.

Who else would know except a Barcode and a Hammer.

17.) 01 Jun 2018 08:07:41
Ahahaha. Bye bye Kloop, never liked you anyway.
Klopp however is in the middle of his project and loves it at Liverpool, no way he's going anywhere for years.

12 Jan 2018 08:55:06
I posted around a week ago that we have made a bid for deli Ali. Only got the info from a friend.
With what has been going on over last 24 hours my friend is insistent that it's Ali but we are quite short on the asking price.

1.) 12 Jan 2018 13:04:01
Alli is over rated and over priced.

2.) 12 Jan 2018 13:06:00
We should never have let him slip the net. He supports liverpool and if my memory serves me correctly the MK Dons manager at the time all but delivered Alli to Rodgers who declined the offer.

3.) 12 Jan 2018 13:33:12
Well that's a lie brez

Brendan met with Dele at the Hilton and everything was all but sorted apart from deeming 5 million to much.

4.) 12 Jan 2018 14:10:11
Did we offer the right wages this time.

5.) 12 Jan 2018 14:32:15
Clearly my memory didn't serve me that correctly.

6.) 12 Jan 2018 15:22:45
Wasn't Rodgers fault over the money he wanted him to sign it was others at the club wouldn't sanction payin the extra.

7.) 12 Jan 2018 16:23:51
In response to Ali signing for Liverpool, I read that the reason Ali didn’t sign for us was Stevie G was in the hotel where he met Rogers but it was late and he was in bed. Ali took it that he wasn’t valued and signed for Spurs instead.

I await the replies but I am sure that’s what I read.

8.) 12 Jan 2018 16:55:32
Forget about the Ali to Liverpool saga. I'm sure there are hundreds more examples of clubs including others at Liverpool where a bargain was let slip through the net because of a simple under sight.

It also works the other way. Look at Inter. They sold whatshisname to us for around the £8 million mark.

9.) 12 Jan 2018 18:00:26
Yeah and man u sold pogba to Juve for peanuts.

10.) 12 Jan 2018 18:09:20
Interesting reasons. The only one I’ve ever heard or seen is that we thought the wages he wanted were too high otherwise the deal is done. Anyway on the pitch he’s a petulant and dirty player who has been lucky (or protected) to date otherwise he would have 2 or 3 more straight reds to his name by now.

Personally I’d rather see Eriksen as he seems to have been the one really making them tick.

11.) 12 Jan 2018 19:06:54
My understanding of the Alli situation was that Rodgers wanted to buy him and put him in the under 19s or under 23s and Potch wanted him for the 1st team so he chose Spurs.

12.) 12 Jan 2018 19:08:31
Ali does have a bad attitude, and he will get caught out soon, yes he is protected, why, well the powers that be, want the top four teams in every cup semi final, and to stay in the top four, making more TV money, yes, money talks .

13.) 12 Jan 2018 19:10:00
Forget all I it's greizmann.

14.) 12 Jan 2018 19:15:55
If rodgers had been to one to coach alli, and not pochettino, i doubt he would be the same player he is now. I think he has unfairly come under criticism for no good reason, he has the unwanted burden of being english and being built up for every small good thing he does, and knocked down for every tiny bad thing he does. Gerrard was always getting sent off at his age. He has a lot of talent and by his mid twenties will have developed into a great player imo, so long as he keeps his head down. He is an unfair victim of the culture of two extremes we have here in england.

15.) 13 Jan 2018 00:10:45
Kwhizz I remember reading the same thing about Gerrard being in bed and Ali not feeling important enough because of it 😂 good ol silly journalism lol.

16.) 13 Jan 2018 00:15:56
Apparently you are correct. Mystery Player X is Dele Alli. but Spurs unlikely to sell to us.

17.) 13 Jan 2018 13:46:51
The story which has been confirmed by Rodgers was that personal terms where agreed with Alli but the club would not match Spurs bid of 5m which seems insignificant now but at the time it seemed a fairly high price for a player in the third tier.

11 Aug 2017 16:04:20
Alex twiddle has told me rafa benitez has asked his representation to put the feelers out for a return to lfc.
Apparently rafa is hoping to take the hot seat if klopp was sacked, quit or at the end of klopps contact.
Apparently he would be considered but certainly not 1st choice. Apparently the Watford manager is the one the powers that be are keeping their eyes on.

1.) 11 Aug 2017 16:29:16

2.) 11 Aug 2017 16:34:16
Negative Red Walter fulfilling his namesake!

3.) 11 Aug 2017 17:14:33
I think something funny is going on. That guy from sky said the other day that klopp's agent, who is agent to a number of players in Germany, did not want to send players to liverpool. Why? I expected klopp to bring in a few German players or former dortmund players. It hasn't happened and why has klopp not brought more quality to liverpool this window? There are only two available players who would improve us? Rubbish, and they aren't even available are they? . Perhaps klopp has his sights set somewhere else? B Munich? I hope not as I love the football we play under JK.

Something doesn't ring true about us this summer, I don't know what's going on. Klopp surely isn't looking at getting the sack, that's for sure. So why is rafa talking about lfc. Would take rafa over silva all day. Although rafa style is not as good to watch, it did bring us a hell of a lot more trophies.

Is klopp lined up for international team?

4.) 11 Aug 2017 17:21:33
I strongly suspect that Rafa would've left Newcastle over lack of transfers by now, except that he thinks that Klopp will be tempted away from Liverpool in the next couple of years and he doesn't want to either be out of football, or be only a year or two into a new job when the Liverpool vacancy arises.

I can't see FSG going for him though.

5.) 11 Aug 2017 17:27:21
Youre are all chatting bubbles. Klopps going nowhere.

6.) 11 Aug 2017 17:51:19
FSG + Benitez = ice cold water into a pot of boiling hot oil.

It ain't going to happen. Benitez had his time at Liverpool so let sleeping dogs lie.

7.) 11 Aug 2017 17:52:31
Jimble, they said the same about Pipco. But we know how that's going.

8.) 11 Aug 2017 18:34:50
Jeez it's early to be on the drink isn't it?

9.) 12 Aug 2017 03:32:33
For one I'd love to have Rafa back over klopp any given day. He was a genius. No LFC manager since 98 gets even close.

10.) 12 Aug 2017 03:34:44
One day, if klopp ever goes I'd love rafa to come back. Brilliant manager. But I'd rather klopp stayed for a long time as he WILL win the league if given time. It could happen this year, I'm not sure. He'll get us there. Fickle British press are underrated at your peril though.

23 Sep 2015 01:16:42
Ok this will be worst rumour of the year but my friend belives it's none other than Jimmy Floyd hasslebaink that's being looked at and might also be at the start of next season
I asked for his sourse but got the reply you just wait and see.

Just wanted to point out that salah and klopps boss have had a great debate on the others page for those that might of missed it.
Keep up the good work guys.

1.) 08 Aug 2018 17:01:20
If only it was a debate Walter lol but thank you! hope you're well mate.

2.) 08 Aug 2018 17:33:58
Are Negative and Salah the same person?

{Ed025's Note - no..

3.) 08 Aug 2018 19:24:19
It may have gone 12 rounds, but I think the decision was unanimous. I'll say no more.

4.) 08 Aug 2018 20:33:16
It was definitely not by decision. I'm sure I saw some knockout punches and some knockdowns. 😉.

5.) 08 Aug 2018 20:36:33
If Salah banging his head against a brick wall is a debate.

6.) 08 Aug 2018 20:43:47
Tell me about it Nick lol.

7.) 08 Aug 2018 21:03:20
It had to be by decision or else one of them was just kicking the other while he was down. I'm pretty sure that's not his style.

31 Jul 2018 10:42:39
After a chat with my pal I thought I'd ask on here. My pal believes the owners are taking steps towards putting lfc on the stock exchange. I believe man u have done this a while back.
I personally don't think so but thought maybe edd 2 might know or any of the posters.
Would this be a benefit to the club if it was the case?

{Ed002's Note - No, I am not aware of the owners considering putting the club on the stock market anywhere, and if they did it would likely have to be in the Far East. There would be no obvious benefit to the club.}

1.) 31 Jul 2018 12:48:40
Thanks for that edd2 I had a feeling Alex was mistaken. All the best.

{Ed002's Note - That would be Sir Alex please.}

2.) 31 Jul 2018 14:28:37
No just my pal. And a Newcastle utd supporter.

29 Jul 2018 08:41:08
Happy Birthday edd 1 have a great day sending lots of negative thoughts your way, er I mean positive thoughts.
All the best for the year ahead.

{Ed001's Note - cheers neggie not sure you would do positive well though.}

1.) 29 Jul 2018 09:55:32
Your birthday, Ed01? Wow! Wish you the best in years and years to come. Thank you to you and the other Eds for all the sites and pages. You guys have done and give loads, and all I have right now is just wishes for you all.

{Ed001's Note - cheers HMSS, it is, I am finally 21....honest.}

2.) 29 Jul 2018 10:13:41
21 after counting backwards for the last 30 years Ed? I like your style, I'm going to do the same mate! lol.

{Ed001's Note - I am shocked and hurt by your insinuation. I have never counted backwards! The needle might have stuck on the dial for a few years, but it has never gone back.}

3.) 29 Jul 2018 10:19:48
Happy birthday ed, you are old. (I couldn’t think of anything positive to say)

4.) 29 Jul 2018 10:19:48
Happy birthday ed, you are old. (I couldn’t think of anything positive to say)

{Ed001's Note - yeah thanks mate, love you too!}

5.) 29 Jul 2018 10:19:58
Hahaha class mate lol.

6.) 29 Jul 2018 10:35:24
Birthday wishes mate, have a good one.
Make that wish count😉.

{Ed001's Note - thank you very much mate, I will.}

7.) 29 Jul 2018 10:31:30
Hahaha well played sir.

8.) 29 Jul 2018 10:31:33
Happy birthday Ed have good one boss
Up the pool.

{Ed001's Note - cheers Redan.}

9.) 29 Jul 2018 10:32:09
Happy birthday ed1. Team gave you a good present last night!

10.) 29 Jul 2018 11:54:15
Best wishes to you and yours, Ed01!

{Ed001's Note - thank you very much BR.}

11.) 29 Jul 2018 13:37:27
Ed 001 already 21? shame, you cannot use age to excuse yourself from real responsibilities then. better man up now.

have a great one and let's bring home no. 19 and no.6.

{Ed001's Note - I know mate, gutted. Cheers mate.}

23 Jul 2018 09:03:20
Not trying to create any bad campaign but wanted to point out the last goal scored came from a save that Alisson makes alot.
A parry out to and around the 6 yard box. I am just hoping our defence will be ready to clear the lines if when Alisson makes this type of save on future games.

1.) 23 Jul 2018 09:11:00
For once, I actually agree with you. Our defenders need to be alert and react quickly to rebounds. De Gea and Courtois tend to tip the ball round the post/ over the crossbar but Alisson tends to parry it back in.

Not sure why he does this but I hope this doesn't cost us goals.

2.) 23 Jul 2018 09:18:51
What? Walter you cannot be serious surely mate.

3.) 23 Jul 2018 09:19:47
Incorrect Walter.

That was a routine save that keepers would well away from danger.

The Alisson parries you’re referring to come from saves he had not right to make in the first place.

4.) 23 Jul 2018 09:58:19
Getting boring now walter.

5.) 23 Jul 2018 10:20:00
Agree with 87red.

6.) 23 Jul 2018 11:05:20
Don’t worry Walter when Migs and Karius leave Klopp is going to sign Mr Blobby as his number 2 that way the rebounds will reach the half way line 😘.

7.) 23 Jul 2018 12:08:34
I'd much prefer Butland.

{Ed001's Note - but Butland does exactly the same thing you are moaning about and is half as good in any other aspect of goalkeeping. Why would you want an injury prone keeper who is half as good as the one you have?}

8.) 23 Jul 2018 12:12:03
so we've just paid a world record fee for keep, arguably one of the top 5 in the world and walter is complaining about saves he's made ( saves which other keepers may not have made) . seriously?

9.) 23 Jul 2018 12:32:20
Surely all these negative posts from Walter are some sort of gimmick or attempt at humour, he literally hasn’t got anything positive to say ever! Liverpool have just went and spent a world record fee to solve the goalkeeping crisis and purchased a goalkeeper most teams in Europe would kill for and all you can do is moan! Really is getting boring!

10.) 23 Jul 2018 13:00:01
Got to be Tris having a laugh surely?
I always thought so, anyway.

Fowler help us if he is real!

{Ed001's Note - nothing to do with me, I don't have the time to arse around and it is not something I would do anyway.}

11.) 23 Jul 2018 13:02:19
Butland over Alisson, Walter? I think I've heard enough now.

12.) 23 Jul 2018 16:52:55
Some of the insanity on these pages, I tell you. 😵 (But splendid strategy of slating two players- Karius and Allison- in one go) .

13.) 23 Jul 2018 16:46:00
What defence was in play when this occurred the second or third string defence?

21 Jul 2018 22:06:29
There's a new video up on you tube for lfc. The rumour is next summer we are buying back sterling for £81 million.
This is why I stick with this site for my information.
Why would someone go through the effort to make such a nonsense video?

{Ed002's Note - Sterling is available to be sold.}

1.) 21 Jul 2018 22:15:13
LOL, Sterling is a spoiled brat. No wonder Pep wants rid of him but not sure there will be any takers as he is earning far too much.

2.) 21 Jul 2018 22:22:22
Why would someone watch such a nonsense video?

3.) 21 Jul 2018 22:22:44
Cheers for the info edd2 but I cannot see him coming back to lfc.

{Ed002's Note - I never suggested that there was any chance of that happening.}

4.) 21 Jul 2018 22:58:26
It wouldn't surprise me if he ended up somewhere like Spurs/ Arsenal or abroad. As long as it's not Liverpool I'm not fussed, I think we all know he won't be back here though.

5.) 21 Jul 2018 23:04:35
Sterling has always struggled with his finishing. it just isn’t good enough IMO.

6.) 21 Jul 2018 23:29:26
Unlikeable person with a clown agent. but a very good player! misses a lot of chances but he's still young, Salah sure as hell missed as many if not more at his age. Twenty three goals last year from wide is nothing to be sniffed at. I said weeks ago i'd take him back but like has already been said, very little chance of him ever playing for us again.

7.) 21 Jul 2018 23:52:29
Who would pay big money for sterling!? I’m sure he’s available but the guy hasn’t improved since he left us. Still can’t finish his breakfast.

8.) 21 Jul 2018 23:53:22
£81m? No thanks. Free transfer? Maybe as bench cover.

9.) 21 Jul 2018 23:55:16
Burnt his bridges and wouldn’t get in our matchday sqaud.

He’ll earn a lot of money from football but not a lot of friends 👍.

10.) 22 Jul 2018 00:05:31
Newcastle will go for him. Two year loan deal to keep the fans appeased.

11.) 22 Jul 2018 00:14:04
He scores a fair few goals for a guy who can't finish. I think ya'll give him too hard of a time. He just needs maturity, he already has the skill. scary to think what the next level of his game looks like.

12.) 22 Jul 2018 01:18:44
I read somewhere that he should be one of the top earners at the club and should get paid accordingly. He's on just short of £200k per week and has 2 years left on his contract and wants a raise. He probably can't support his 23 kids.

{Ed001's Note - he doesn't have lots of kids at all.}

13.) 22 Jul 2018 01:52:43
Maybe he could go United as they can spend that kind of money and he can continue the downward spiral in his career path: it’s a win : win.

14.) 22 Jul 2018 05:25:30
downward spiral after winning the league? yes downward spiral indeed. I get the hate and banter against raheem, but for me he was a kid when he was with us is still a kid now. he is heading into the early - mid 20s now when he is going to mature. I look forward to seeing him take another step forward in his career, he's done pretty well so far for a kid.

15.) 22 Jul 2018 06:02:38
Citeh won the league not Sterling.

Sterling has stalled in his performance levels and the early potential has not been realised

Why are Citeh happy to sell him?

They know his value and it is less to them than he thinks he is worth.

Would Sterling replace any of our forward players: I don’t see it myself.

{Ed001's Note - what would Sterling offer to us? Pace? Mane and Salah are quicker and better. He still can't kick a ball properly. He is still too fond of throwing himself to the ground far too easily. Sterling is simply just not good enough to get in the Liverpool side, he was only good enough to get in the City side because they had no pacey options on the right to pick over him. If Guardiola had signed the players he wanted, Sterling would have been straight out of the door. As it was, Pep was happy to get rid of him last summer if there had been anyone willing to pay the price City were asking. Even without a direct replacement. That should tell you something.}

16.) 22 Jul 2018 08:42:47
Yep Ed001, it tells us we sold him at the right time.

{Ed001's Note - exactly. Good luck to the lad, but he is the past and should remain that way.}

17.) 22 Jul 2018 09:29:16
Absolutely. Can’t think of anyone off the top of my head who has returned and been as good as when they left. Even Fowler and Rush weren’t the same players when they returned.

{Ed001's Note - I can't think of anyone either.}

18.) 22 Jul 2018 09:32:19
Running fast appears to be Sterling's sole attribute. Big fuss made of his goalscoring exploits last season, with the likes of De Bruyne and Silva pulling the strings there's plenty of tap-ins to be had.
Sterling showed his level at the World Cup, run fast with the ball, mostly ending up on his backside within a dozen paces, zero goals and zero assists.

19.) 22 Jul 2018 09:54:48
Was sterling not suppose to be part of the Sanchez deal to Arsenal? I know they supposedly walked away because of his wage demands but I read somewhere Arsenal want sterling but pep refused point blank.

20.) 22 Jul 2018 10:07:44
Mushroom, to answer your question i think Bellamy was better when he came back to us. only 1 i can think of.

21.) 22 Jul 2018 10:26:45
Bellamy maybe? But I agree would never want sterling back.

Spot on, Ed. I remember you saying last season, that Pep was done with Sterling which is why he signed Bernardo Silva from Monaco (brilliant player) to play wide and Pep was right. I also remember Arsenal being linked with him last Jan to replace Alexis and Pep said no, of course. If anything, Sterling's disgraceful performance in Russia has proved that he is way past his best. We sold him at the right time and he would not even make our bench right now.

Raheem didn't make any chances or score any in Russia but he still started every game. His runs cause a lot of problems to opposition defences. I honestly wouldn't swap him for milner today. He is an empty shirt.

Look at mane's finishing compared to sterling.

Quite a schizophrenic post. Job done.

Robblejames83, I agree with you overall BUT what probs. did he cause the opposition, exactly? The guy was making runs BUT he can't shoot, can't dribble one on one, can't pass, has poor decision-making, no goals, no assists, no key passes etc. So how is someone like that with that many "qualities" causing the opposition probs? It is cos he never did. Vs Croatia, Lovren, a CB, shut down Sterling in wide areas. Why? HE WAS NO THREAT to them based on the "qualities" named above. And the fact that Southgate started Sterling in every game in spite of his "empty runs" and lack of end product, shows how poor the England squad was in this area.

Maybe an edd can confirm but I believe they have had some cash injection from investors.

{Ed002's Note - It is not quite like that.}

Edd2 not wrong here. I believe klopp under estemated the task ahead when he signed. I believe he thought he could win the Premiership, then reality hit.
No denying klopp has improved the team and style of play, but as much as I hate saying it I just don't see him bringing us the league title.

{Ed002's Note - There is no doubt that he had the players performing well much of last season - but not consistently enough to even come close to challenging for the league. They can do better this coming season but it will be tough to win the league.}

Enjoyed that new part of the site nice one edd 1.
The talk conspiracy page is awesome, when in full flow. I'd love for Harry to have a look on there as I like his opinions.

{Ed001's Note - glad you enjoyed neggie, but you will ruin your rep if you don't say something negative about it....}
