Hi Eds,
It's looking like Balde is joining Monaco, is this them looking to strengthen their squad or find a replacement for Lemar?
Also if Lemar is not possible will be return for the Ox or are the two not related.

Whereas selling Coutinho and buying Lemar to replace him makes sense, selling Coutinho and buying Oxlade Chamberlain to replace him ranks up there with replacing Suarez with Balotelli. I still don't understand the clamour for Oxlade, he's a very ordinary player at best, surely the weekend gives an indication of the sort of player he is.

The ox isn't good enough. The only reason Chelsea want him is because he's a microscopic upgrade on Moses at wing back.

Ed001 has already alluded to the fact that the Ox wasn't a coutinho replacement. He was someone to bring in as a utility. Whereas Lemar is seen as a direct creative replacement, and since the club/ Klopp has decided to sell coutinho they shifted their plans and are now seeking a replacement. I do enjoy your constant Ox battering though, same words different day!

The ox would be good cover for mane, salah and could play cup games, good squad player, he ain't a patch on lemar he could go straight into team, I think klopp could actually improve ox though.

He's not a patch on Salah and Mane either, Hailstones. He is a significant downgrade to them as he can't cross, can't pass, can't shoot, can't score, is lazy and not good enough. I'd rather play Kent as at least, he has pace, is two footed and can beat a man one on one with his ridiculous stepovers.

£28 million pound bid rejected for Salah.
though not first choice, if we do end up signing him let's get behind him. He did score 15 goals and get 11 assists last. I know it's Seria A but more or the same as any Liverpool player!

If we get both then they are good signings. Let's face it if we are realistic about challenging for trophies then we have to adapt to the market and what other teams are doing. And that is having to spend big. Last season we made money on transfer market I believe, and we more depth imagine what we could be like with the way that Klopp can get us playing. Both Manchester clubs are going to spend silly amounts and so will Chelsea. Money isn't a big issue for us as Klopp said so let's get behind who ever we sign, however much they cost :)
