I don't claim to be itk or have an aunties cousins next door neighbours postman whose related to an estate agent whose found a house for fekir. BUT Lyon are a listed company on the Paris stock exchange and normally when deals occur with companies listed it is a weekday or late Sunday evening. If it is happening we will find out then. SO. everyone stop asking, give the eds a break, spend time with your family, friends, go out have some fun and let's enjoy the weekend. The constant guessing is mental people. How's about today if you post. It is just positive about the fact kk got what he rightly deserves (FACT) and leave the speculation til Monday.

Let's assume pipco goes next week
Would you be happy with erikson from spurs? Same age, proven premiership.
Or move firmino back and get costa/ pea (both attitude problems but we've dealt with that before)
I think no signings of any kind will happen before the 24th (after 2nd leg of cl) as why would anyone sign without definitely cl.
If we go through:-
Vvd - £70m
Keita - £80m
One other marquee signing with pipco money.
If we lose then assume it will be none of the above list.

I'd take Erikson, but as alternative I'd take Dele Alli too who may be more willing to come. apparently would have been a LFC player already had we not screwed that up too. but Spurs wouldn't sell. and that's the problem, we can identify targets but getting their clubs to sell is the hard part.

I think it's pretty obvious we aren't going to get Keita or Van Dijk. I think Chelsea will get Van Dijk. Keita will stay at RBL.
Why do I think Keita will stay? Well RBL don't need or want the money. They will say to the player - play one more season, do well in the CL and Madrid, Munich, Paris or Barcelona might come in for you.
We can't say that to Coutinho because it doesn't get any bigger than Barcelona for him. FSG are businessmen, they will sell Coutinho.
We need to concentrate on improving our weaknesses, namely set pieces and our organisation when we haven't got the ball.

Spurs sold walker to city so they will sell if price is right. Remember levy has new stadium to pay for and supposedly doesn't pay as well as we do.
As I said nothing going to happen for 11days so let's be positive, back the team and give the eds a break.

Question for the eds.
When klopp was at dortmund was their defence better at defending set pieces. If so was that down to their quality (hummels? ) Or did they have a defensive coach? Or has this always been a problem for klopp's style?
{Ed001's Note - no idea as the Bundesliga does not have the same emphasis on set pieces nor Pulis type coaches who build teams of 11 six-foot plus players.}

First time poster
On Saturday my three year old daughter charged at me, jumped on me and then sunk her teeth into my shoulder. I proceeded to throw her off me (in a gentle way before I get childline on me) and then she rolled on the floor crying.
It was amazing watching a rerun last night of the exact same thing!
Like suarez I dint make a big thing out of it as these things happen!
On a more serious note I would like to see him leave for the maximum possible on the basis FIFA don't ban him from club football as well. Whilst I will always support any player at Liverpool he does make it rather difficult to defend him and we have a great manager who i'm sure will be able to replace him with a few options who can maintain our current great form. I personally think his value has gone up as any club will be happy as he doesn't have to play any games for his national team which means in his prime he only has his team to play for which makes him a more viable prospect (excluding the insane biting potential)
as someone else said he's done this twice before and on both occasions he was sought after so nothing has changed in that perspective so people maybe need to calm down about not being able to sell him - I don't think it will be an issue.
