With the purchase of Balotelli seemingly near done, do you think Brendan would go for a Defensive Midfielder?
Schweinsteiger with Khedira (Germany) & Martinez (during Henyckes' time), Pirlo with DeRossi or Vidal & Pogba. . I would assume that knowing Stevie doesn't really have the legs, Brendan would wanna bring in a good DM (insert Khedira here) to provide cover for the back four.

Hello Eds,
Song available for 8m, but so also is Sami Khedira(according to rumours). Though Khedira's wage demands would be higher, I would still prefer him to Song. Khedira & Hendo pressing in front of Stevie would give the back four rest & adequate protection IMO.
I might be a lil bit of Oliver Twist here, but why can't we go for & close the Marco Reus deal. Looks like BVB wouldn't mind negotiating. I know some fans want Bony, but in a way, I feel his signing wouldn't give the fluid movement in the final third that we would've gotten with Remy or would get with Reus.

Do you know if any team is in for Eduardo Vargas (Chile).
Looks to me like he's a very mobile and decent attacker (the games I've seen him play for Chile) Could probably solve our striker problem.
