Hi all, I am hearing there will be 1 out and 1 in for January (as a minimum) .
Out goes Joe Allen (most likely Swansea)
In comes Grujic - will replace Allen is the squad aka on the bench. Seen as a long term star but will be bedded in slowly.

I see it as sensible.

I think Grujic is being loaned back for the season and will join up next year.

It is common knowledge that if the grujic deal is sealed in jan, it will be for a move in the summer at earliest, so I would doubt the quality of your sources.

Maybe if it's ine in one out, Allen will go, grujic will be bought, but not come in, and there will be one more.

Why does everyone assume that Allen will go back to Swansea. They are top heavy with midfield players themselves. They already have Shelvey, Cork, Sigurson Britton and a few youngsters, so I think they have other priorities than another midfielder. On another note, how many players leave their first club and then return to that club? Very few.

If the Juve interest is true I can't see him coming to us. He wanted inter and his dad wants Italy so I think he will end up with the old lady.

{Ed001's Note - just to point out to since 64 that Swansea are not happy with their midfield options. Shelvey is available for transfer, Britton is getting on and they would like to replace him, so that only leaves Cork who even plays a similar role to Allen in that list.}

Why is Shelvey available ed? He had some good performances last season. He's young and seems to work hard. Seems odd.
Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - he lost his place and they are looking for something different.}

1 in and 1 out (as a minimum)
One of the least favoured midfielders leaving
And a player coming in who has been over the news for weeks

Groundbreaking

You're a natural aren't you Tyrone

Course I am.

Interest from Juve? I thought it was inter as the other club?

The reason Shelvey is leaving is because he's had a falling out with Sigurdsson and refused to play vs Leocester because of him. Attitude sounds terrible.

A few Italian sites reporting Juve have an interest Fencey. Who knows if its just paper talk but its certainly more than one.

Was just passing on what I've heard believe it or not. And as I say, it does makes sense to me anyway. Yes I've heard of the loan back re Grujic, but is it signed sealed and delivered?

I know we've got abundant MFs but anyone else like to Shelvey back at Anfield?

I thought he was good for Swansea.

What say you ED1, about the player if not a return?

{Ed001's Note - no, it was the right decision to let him go and it would be the wrong one to bring him back. He needs to drop his attitude and get his feet back on the ground again, which I think he is full capable of but his temperament is suspect. He needs far too much work put in for a player with us. We need players to step up, not act up. DaRedMan is not entirely correct in the reasonings for Shelvey's sale, there are a lot more things involved than a falling out with a team mate, but they do want rid.}

He's not a quick player so I don't think he'd fit in well with Kloppo's system. Too many fouls too. Decent player, not a top 4 player though.
