Eds any chance of Origi returning for the final part of the season or is not up to Liverpool? Also does Klopp rate him or are we looking to get rid of him?

He's more than good enough Jay. This is the player who scored vital goals in both legs of our Europa League ties with Borussia Dortmund in Klopp's first season with us. He has great potential, has pace, can hold the ball up, get on the end of crosses, play anywhere across the front line and scores some excellent goals.

For me, should Sturridge leave I'd be more than happy for Origi to come back. I like him. I'd actually be disappointed to see him permanently leave Liverpool.

Reid, you’re battling the usual comments. Origi, bobby, Hendo, Lallana, Salah, mane, can, Gini, Moreno, Robertson, TAA, Gomez, Karius, Coutinho, the ox, Virgil, Klavan, matip, Lovren, . it’s amazing what we’ve done in the last 2 seasons with an entire squad of ‘not good enough’. They also said the same about Suso and now want him back. Fickle.

Oh I'm certainly not holding my breath Ed, I know it won't be happening and he's almost certainly played his last game in a Liverpool shirt.

And Swishcleaner, I was merely sticking up for another of our players. I accept it's a losing battle but I will defend our players from unnecessary criticism such as that when I can. I wish fans could get behind our players for a bit before they get judged for making one or two slight errors or below par games.

Exactl swishcleaner, Origi in my opinion didn’t have loads of chances but for a young player at a top club he put in some great performances, average performances and poor performances but what else would you expect from a young player. We should bring him back and give him another season at least! YNWA.

Doubt he will come back. I just hope that if we let him go we put some kind of first option clause in. He may be our Kevin de bruyne and come back in a few years and haunt us.

I get what your saying swish but I don't think we need a player that "might be" good enough the team we have and are building now needs players that will come straight in to the team or even push the other 11 to play better cause their place is under threat! Origi doesn't threaten any of our front 3 in my opinion! Sorry for the rant 😂.

All good jay, I wouldn’t suggest we go out and buy an origi but he’s already ours so. I think he done more than sturridge, Ings and Solanke have in the last 2 years ( obviously he’s very young) but I’d rather he had a chance ahead of those 3. Seems to be improving where he is as well which is why they want to buy him. I don’t see anyone rushing to take
Sturridge and Ings off our hands.

I think Sturridge is finished love him but it's crocked now and on big wages! Ings hasn't had a run yet!
I get what your sayin tho about origi being ours and I do like him and he is only young but I'd rather see him develop and get game time then linger in our team and waste away and hopefully one day he does come back and makes me eat my words 😂.

Origi is another I'd say is very good potentially but you'd ask the question is he title winning good and would he be willing to spend most of the season on the bench as a squad player? Personally i'd have thought answer is no to both but more so the second.
