Coutinho is most likely to join Totenham on loan, I know he is a player that only shows up to certain games but any player that strengthens a rival is a big concern.

But whoever he goes on loan to, it's roughly £25m taken from their coffers to just have the player for one year.

Surely that weakens them a little in the long term. They could take a punt on a promising player for that, and if the player doesn't work out, sell them on. That amount of money to loan a player for a season is absolute madness.

Poch wanted him when he signed for Liverpool all them years ago. I believe they worked together at Espanyol so this isn't a shock really.

I'm not sure how much he strengthens them because I'd imagine this means Eriksen will leave. Like for like really, if that is the case of course.

I would only take coutinho if we were going to lose him to arsenal or spurs. He’s a great player and could be the difference. I really think in midfield if there are a few injuries we will struggle. The Ox and Lallana and Shaqiri are all injury prone. Where would the creativity come from?

Hes better than Eriksen.

Well they have apparently had a bid of €70 million excepted for Dybala and even though they play different positions that's a help of an amount on wages for the spuds to pay.

I still think we will regret not strengthening our first team. History tends to show standing still is generally going backwards when the opposition are actively improving their squads.

I hope I am wrong, but we need to capitalise on last season, not rely on it.

Well the simple fact is if Liverpool believe they will
Stroll the league like last year
Klopp is smoking Sth
He actually trusts lallana and ox . wow

I fancy spurs to challenge city and Liverpool will be challenging arsenal and Man U for the top 4 I don’t think it’s all cut and dry like you lot think. Not adding another attacker I believe is what will cost liverpool the league
Isn’t that that goal? . and spurs r no joke either.

Yep lobster I'd say that's exactly what they believe.

I've added that screenshot to my dropbox Red Lobster, to rub it in in 9 months time. You really are a deluded little monster.

Well mr spud
You screenshot that and yes I will remind you
I’m just stating an opinion and you lot are losing your kinds if it’s not praising lfc 24/ 7
Salah or firmino don’t play
No goals happen
You guys have already seen origi play from the start
He just doesn’t cut it
How many games do the front three have to play before u realise that . should have bought more replacements
And then Wilson loaned out it’s like klopp is purposely trying to sabotage his team.

{Ed025's Note - wow..just wow..

Looks like we may see man utd shirts in public this year, well until after the Chelsea game. With regards who spurs are going to sign I think it may be sky after betting revenue.

Sorry just don’t agree with your assessment.

Klopp knows what he is doing.

We are going to be in fine shape.

Red Lobster, can you sing your VVD song to me please, just replace the name with Maguire 😭😭

Or are you just one of those annoying arm chair fans?

Reading your previous posts, I would certainly hazard a guess at the latter 😂.

I have to agree with Red Lobster. Not adding to the squad will be a bad move. Not saying let's go spend millions and get in all the big name players but we need some one who can challenge the front 3. Yes Origi helped us win the sixth (will be forever grateful) but he is simply not good enough. Brewster is still covering from a long term injury and will have to step up to the physical PL and who knows if he will or not. Imo will finish 3rd and make the quarters in CL.

17.) 07 Aug 2019
07 Aug 2019 02:28:08
Origi not good enough. get out right now you are not a Liverpool fan. Shaq and Origi will score 15 very important goals between them and work their socks off in likely limited appearances. Keita, Ox and Lallana have plenty to give. It doesn't always come down to talent alone, you have to build a team of men and it is clear Klopp valued keeping his current squad together more than adding Fekir, Pepe and Quaresma lol.

Coutinho could be quite good for spurs. Would like to see him back in the prem.

Spurs won’t be challenging anyone. They will finish 4th or 5th.
Dybala is an accident waiting to happen, why do you think Juventus are so keen to get shot of him?

Stop panicking just because we haven’t splashed the cash on this player or that. We have a squad capable of getting to 2 yes 2 Champions League finals in a row and finished with 97pts last season.
All apart from City are so far behind us it will take more than a couple of players for them to catch up.

Coutinho is not going to Spurs! rejoice! he has turned down a loan move, more worryingly Shaqiri has being linked with a loan move to Monaco according to Swizz daily "Blick" let's hope this story is absolute rubbish.
