Klopp going to have to look at quality back up for next season. AFCON Cup set for Jan 2021. Mane. Salah will be out assuming still there.

I agree it is going to be very disruptive to our season but we won’t and can’t bring in expensive back up players just fir 3weeks cover.

What’s your thoughts on this ed001? It’s far from ideal ate ain’t it.

{Ed001's Note - we should be fine, always managed in the past and it is only a few weeks. You just get on with it and we have plenty of players to cover.}

Kai can play up front as well as MF.

Exactly Ed002, plus might have an extra option in there to cover 🤔.

We have bought Minamino and we already have Origi who we know can do a job along with Shaq. Maybe Harvey Elliott can come in and take his chance. Overall I’m not panicking too much yet.

We have Origi, Bobby, Taki and Shaq for those weeks and maybe Brewster? Ox can play up front as well there is no need to panic, plus we may have another 17 point gap at the top of the league as well!

Naby Keita has enjoyed the longest "honeymoon" in football history. Been missing for a year and a half and nobody says a word.

ArAy1969, you seem to be forgetting the 49 games he has played in for Liverpool in that period. Or maybe you just have an agenda.

{Ed025's Note - why thunderbird? are you telling us that your happy with naby,s contributions since he came?

I wouldn’t say that I’m unhappy, when he’s played he been pretty good, injures happen. I certainly wouldn’t say that he’s been ‘missing’ for a year and a half.

I agree with that Thunderbird. It’s like when everything’s going well people have to find something or someone to moan about. Obviously rival fans will grab on to any possible criticism they can and due to his injuries he’s an easy target.
He cost less than Fred and Pogba and the same as Richarlison and even with the injuries I know who I’d prefer to have.
The guy is a class act and all the naysayers will be eating their words before long and I hope they choke on them.

Origi and shaq 1st team for possible six weeks. After xmas. without injuries and possible man city top 4 fixture. I think this will definitely force his hand and buy CF. 1 out not both Firmino can't score enough.

Thunderbird. Of course, I unequivocally have an agenda. It's called being "a club supporter who doesn't hesitate to voice his displeasure at players on whom high expectations have been placed, are paid very well and yet are unable to put in a regular shift throughout a season".

I admire your ability to fish for and spit out meaningless statistics, from the internet. But Naby Keita is an underperformer since day one, and/ or really likes the decor in the physio room and therefore spends a lot of time there. I clapped during those few games where he excelled, but that's not enough for me to say he deserves to keep that valuable squad place he is holding. The team needs 17-18 players who can be absolutely trusted, be relied on, and be dependant on, to be at the height, and stay at the height, we are on. This man is not there most of the time, and yet he's holding one of those 17-18 top squad places.

It's like sitting around for approximately 2 hours for a whale to come up. Once it comes up for air for around 10 seconds, you scream "wow" and then it's gone down again. And you wait for another 2 hours again. This turns some people on. Fine. It doesn't work for me. I guess I'm a naysayer then.

I'm still optimistic with keita, I'd feel different if he's been playing poor for last 18 months but it's just constant injury setbacks is hurting him and his form has been impressive when you consider he's always been playing without any rhythm as yet. His previous injury history was never an issue so I think it's still likely he can overcome and play consistently. Henderson was suffering like keita with niggles for about 2 years at similar age and OX too. The talent is there and he's shown he has it. Last summer his country ruined his rehab and he never got the chance to recover and get up to speed in pre season. He deserves more time as he's still young and only injury has stopped him flourishing.

{Ed025's Note - its not only the injuries though is it har?, not learned the language and a bit of a loner as well...does he really deserve more time?..

I don't know about the loner issue but allison and firmino also aren't speaking English so as much as it is frustrating I'm not going to use that as a reason to write him off. Tevez spent years not speaking English, took aguero ages too but if he can do his talking on the field we won't care, . I just want to see him have a spell where he's fit and playing regularly before I give up on him because i know there's a great midfielder in there. I'm hoping it can fall into place for him, remember OX spent 5 years like this at arsenal before finding his spark. Klopp will I'm sure know exactly what direction keitas career is heading and I guess in the summer we might find out if we have belief or not in him to succeed.

Look at that mug Rooney, he could barely speak English and did ok 😂.
