Hi Eds, just wondering if Klopp still has any interest in Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele? Thanks.

I ask as friend, not exactly reliable, in Barcelona assures me that Liverpool have enquired again about a possible loan.

{Ed002's Note - Barcelona are discussing him with another club and they need sales or loans with an obligation to buy - and not just loans. I assume you see him as a replacement for Salah?}

As Ed002 said, we have little cash to spend. We also have an home grown quota we need to fill and at this time we are not meeting that. I would suggest we are looking more at up and coming HG players if any at all.

I understand all of the above. I read this site everyday. We are skint etc (but will magic 30M for Thiago), home grown quota etc but don't see how my question assumes I see him as a Salah replacement? That's you reading into it. I simply heard we are interested in taking him on loan no more no less.

Read between the lines Barakdee. Ed said there was no money there so the implication is if we are bringing him in then it is at the expense of one of the front 3, i. e. Salah. Ed uses this type of example all of the time, not sure why so many people struggle with it.
