Money is obviously an issue at the moment for Liverpool with regards to transfers but seen a figure circa £19m being touted as a release clause for Patson Daka.

Became aware of him when Haaland was first getting noticed and he's had an excellent season, allbeit in the Austrian league.

Any confirmation on this? I recall Haaland joining Dortmund for a similarly 'low' fee and think that, given the situation, that would be a good deal.

Please bare in mind I'm not considering whether the player would be interested due to limited playing time etc but was just wondering, on a financial basis, whether Daka would be viable and the potential fee.

{Ed002's Note - He certainly won't be moving for £19M.}

19.5 million? Lol. More like 40 million you think Ed's?

whatever he goes for it will surely be more in range with our typical kind of signing versus buying Haaland or Mbappe, as much as I'd love Mbappe in Liverpool red!

Every one could see Haaland was going to be a top player so how did Dortmund get him for 19.5 million, have never understood that transfer?

{Ed002's Note - You are on the wrong page, this is the Liverpool page.}

Acered - I feel like in general German football just does things different.
