By all accounts Villa are the ones with city also looking at Winks if the journos are to be believed. I actually don't think he's too bad of a player, under Poch he's was very good and made the break into the England fold, his two performances vs R. Madrid where outstanding but he hasn't had much football for some time.

I suspect its just the rags looking at LFCs HG need and putting 2 and 2 together.

Spurs' midfield is really really weak and he still can't get into their team. That should tell you enough. Plus, he has looked bang average anytime I have seen him play.

A few outstanding performances here and there don't mean anything. I'd rather not buy anyone.
