Eds are West Ham trying to strike a deal for Origi?

{Ed002's Note - West Ham United have had a scattergun approach to signing a striker. They have a huge list of options but have been hopeless at resolving the issue. Origi will be one of those options.}

Actually think he’d do well at West Ham. The guy needs minutes he could get that at West Ham with Antonio injury record.

If they really want him and we really want Bowen would make sense to use him as a makeweight as part of the deal for Bowen.

Wherever he ends up I hope it’s a good fit for him and he does well. He’s scored important goals for us but he’ll never get the game time he needs.

I hope we don't sign bowen.

{Ed0666's Note - hes be better than signing no one. I’m not convinced by the guy but if he signs I hope he makes me eat a slice or three of humble pie.

If the club are looking at Bowen the scouts must see something?

Again nothing against the player at all 666 but i just cannot see him getting any minutes ahead of salah mane bobby jota ox and minamino. he is not a future replacement for salah and mane. He isn't a bargain 10 million buy either. So the move just doesn't make sense.
Further since elliot isn't going on loan if we sign bowen he will just eat into the whatever little minutes elliot was supposed to get.
Contrary to many i don't think origi and shaq need replacement we have decent depth upfront.
If we move ox and minamino then yes he is an option but wouldn't be in my top 3.

{Ed0666's Note - Bowen if signed will get minutes ahead of Tiki for sure. Shaq and Origi need replacing ASAP, they need a change of scenery and both players and club need to move on. Divvy is not the divvy of 2-3 years ago he’s lost his fire and Shaq is another susceptible to injury. I would rather Bowen and Elliot than Shaq and origi.

It has HG written all over it. I'd go for Ollie Watkins if that's the case. He'll get less playing time now that Ings has joined them. And with us, maybe give a kick to Firmino's backside to up his game once again to what it was.

We need to get “like buttons” for the eds comments as well as posters!

Olie Watkins would cost a fortune. Bowen? I’ve said it from jump. I don’t rate the guy and ability movement, game intelligence and technical skill-, he isn’t better than Taki BUT cos Taki doesn’t get games due to those three legends ahead of him, Bowen is seen to be better. I disagree.

Bowen has HG written all over it and he isn’t good enuff for us and I stand by that. That said if he signs, he would have my full support and would root for him all day long.

Bowen for 30/ 40m would seem insane, unless Edwards has seen Mane level potential in him. Just can't see us overpaying for British players in this market.

Bowen does have something about ihm… he was really impressive at Hull… remember Robbie!

If the LFC guys want him then I would back their judgement on it.

He would be a better option off the bench for us than Taki Shaw and Divock.

I agree with Akira and Oli on this. I do think Bowen would get more minutes than Origi, Taki and Ox in the front three positions but still don't think it would be worth the outlay.
