Being reported by a top Belgian journo that Origi has made it clear he wants to leave Liverpool in Deadline Day.

It shows how easily led some are when they believe a story that Origi all of a sudden wants out on the last day and then start with the player and club slagging.
Never mind that it sounds like total crap, just instantly believe it.

Putting aside rumours from Twitter and voices people seem to hear in their heads and Origi does leave why is there a need to replace him?

As Origi made a minimal contribution last season what’s the need to replace him? Do we need someone to bulk out the squad photograph? Got to be worth spending £ 30 - 40 m on a brainless panic buy. So, come on all you brainless out there - panic and shout out random names.

The lad obviously doesn't want to play football. Happy to collect his big salary. But it's OK he's seen as a hero on here.

That doesn't really work like that though West does it?
Origi has barely played as he isn't good enough, another quality option when its obvious a natural finisher is often needed is what we shoukd be looking at, the glaring amount of chances wasted up front is crazy at times.
Do City have rotation in their front 3? Of course because they trust the lads in the squad to do a job, Klopp clearly thinks Origi does not, that's why he's not been used not because we don't need the option.

And of course, natural finishers grow on trees and are dirt cheap because they're so available.
And will be happy to spend time on the bench.
It's a fine balancing act to achieve. City can afford to pay their players staggering amounts to get splinters in their hoop, we can't.

Not sure the rumor is even true anyway but many seem to know a lot about Divvy regarding his motivations and state of mind are (prolly without ever meeting him) just cos he won’t do what they like him to do and except any off gold or bad, to leave. The guy has earned everything he has received in football so why would he do what other people want?
