Ed2 what's the latest with Jarod Bowen do you see Liverpool making a move for him and what's his contract situation with West Ham? Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - Jarrod Bowen (RW/LW) I am still not aware of any formal approach to West Ham by Liverpool, but Bowen is a player who would be an ideal replacement for the now departed Shaqiri - and he is HG. Liverpool have a good relationship with his agent and have apparently spoken with him. I don't know if West Ham would be open to selling. Their focus is on other positions. So it makes some sense if West Ham are open to a sale and if the player accepts a bit-part role. Previously Leicester had an approach turned down by West Ham. Spurs want to add competition to Moura but Bowen would want to be a starter so any club signing him would need to convince him of their project. He has a lengthy contract.}

Ed's any idea who may be interested in the Ox? Seems his time is drawing to a close.

{Ed002's Note - No, I could only guess.}

I’d love to have him - seems a klopp player and help out our HG issues - would cost a fair wedge and West Ham don’t need to sell.

I would definitely take Bowen. Good pace, good on the ball, decent end product but most importantly his work rate and desire to just play football is what stands out for me.
Think he’d be an upgrade on Taki.
As stated though would cost a fair chunk of money and there’s probably cheaper alternatives that would offer similar quality.

Think it was MK Scouser who was pushing Bowen a few months back, and took some stick for it from memory. I think he would be a decent player and further strengthen the squad. Would imagine a fairly decent price would be required though.

I think Bowen could be very effective for us if he were to be played just off the shoulders of the front 3 on either the right or left, as we used Shaqiri. Bowen seems to be faster, with higher work rate and more direct in his play; he may even press far better. Shaqiri was more lethal with his kicks in set plays.
