Dominik Szoboszlai transfer to Liverpool to be completed within the next 12 hours. The player wants the move but things depend on the two clubs agreeing on a payment schedule.

Have to say that this one has come out of nowhere.

Looks and sounds a good player, though (can't honestly say that I've seen an awful lot of him, aside from a couple of games) .

I hope we can get this over the line, though. Would be good to get a couple in and ready for pre-season, if possible.

I've never understood that sort of thing. What benefit is it to the club to appear to be going for players and just not getting them?

Does very little for the image of the club, does it?

There is always the chance that we just don't reach an agreement with RBL - like ED002 said, they're going to be pretty hesitant to sell another player after losing Nkunku and looking likely to lose Gvardiol. Plus, RBL aren't really in a position where they need/ want to sell.

Is he actually good? his stats look mediocre, and he somehow picked up 2 red cards this season, which is heavily worrying.

He's young, done well in a competitive league, plays a variety of positions and seems to be a bit different to what we already have.

Plus, ED002 did say earlier that he's known to be an intelligent guy.

As I said earlier, I've probably only seen him play a couple of times and wasn't really paying much attention to him specifically, but he looks technically very proficient.

At the end of the day, he's not quite an obvious starter in the way that Alexis Mac is, but he has every bit the same chance of taking a place in the first 11 as a Thuram or Kone, right?

I know people will say that he's obviously not the same level at this moment in time, but I'd hope his adaptability will give him a great chance of really helping out the team in the same way as Gakpo did.
