Hi Ed's I wonder if any of you have any insight into what our plans might be for Sepp van den Berg?
I believe that he now qualifies as academy grown and from what I can tell seems to be performing well for Mainz in the Bundesliga. (he has won the second most areal duels and third most challenges in the division as well as making it into the team of the week for his performance in a 2-0 win over RB Leipzig) .
Three years away on loan has made him feel like a bit of a forgotten man.

{Ed002's Note - He counts as Home Grown and Club Developed. However, I doubt he will get a chance at Liverpool and should look for a discussion with the club about his future.}

Ed any idea if there is a recall option for ven den Berg? He'd certainly be better cover for Matip than Phillips or Williams.
