Damn, was hoping theyd switch there attention to Darwin. Were going to struggle bigtime to get rid of that fella.

Is it worth keeping Nunez and replacing Jota instead? I feel like Nunez could be a decent impact sub with Wirtz playing.

With all that grinning when he mucks up, Nunez could become an MP.

Hoping Inter might be interested, he’d do well in Serie A.

Without Saudi Money on offer, its going to be a stretch getting a big fee for Darwin.

Nunez couldn't make a decent impact with Diego Armando himself behind him.

Nunez is the priority to sell above Jota as he’s just not up to the standards we need in a striker. If City sign Cherki then they’ve got him Haarland and Marmoush so a rubbish load of goals! All well and good having the creativity if you’ve got limited No.9 firepower! ??.

Osimhen was never going to be an option because he’s so avaricious. He’s basically written his career off for money.

Adam, I would get rid of both personally.

Nunez got more yellow cards than goals this season.

Despite not being able to stay fit Jota started more league games than Darwin and out scored him.

Darwin’s main attribute is apparently his work rate.

But he’s the only player Slot has called out for lack of effort this season.

Trying to sell Jota at 30-40 mill would be hard. But we seem to believe selling Darwin for 60-70 mill is easy business.

Darwin has struggled to find the net and it’s been a constant frustration. However, he did try his heart out up until we went out of the champions league. Our win in Paris owed a lot to Darwin.
I don’t hate the lad, he did his best for us but it wasn’t good enough.

I wish him well. It seem like he’s off to Athletico Madrid and I hope he rekindles his career.

I wouldn’t be against keeping Nunez for another year if we can’t get the right man through the door.

I still hold out some small hope that he might get past his psychological struggles. He has everything we need in a striker but his brain just turns to mush every time he gets a chance to score. He’s a bit too desperate which leads to him being offside a lot and snatching at chances.

People like to criticise him and I get it. He’s made himself an easy target for lazy critics but if he stays he’ll have my full support for another year.

Slots been critical of him and started him in 8 league games.

Slot must be part of the lazy critics as well.

Was done for me when he came on vs Wolves when we were under the cosh and proceeded to trot around for half an hour, pretty sure we were still in the champs lge at that point.

I too have been frustration with Nunez. He gets in great positions and then does crazy things. I don't know if its the speed of the game that catches him out or panic. I would hope, a little because of the financial situation more than anything else. that some quality, one on one, coaching or maybe a loan to a club in a slower league might give the chap some adjustment. he's obviously talented, just needs a change of mentality (if possible)
