Is jordan ibe being recalled from loan

1.) 15 Jan 2015
Very poor decision to bring Ibe back now imo. Why not let the lad enjoy his football at Derby and play regularly without too much pressure on his shoulders? Same goes for Origi. Neither will be a regular starter for LFC this season, and it would only hamper their development. Or maybe there is going to be a mass clear out of some of the attackers at the club like Borini and Lambert. That is the only reason why Ibe should be recalled, otherwise let the kid stay where he is for now.

2.) 15 Jan 2015
To be fair Ibe and Origi although quite young could both boost the squad in I would be happy if we recall those and found a good keeper to join weather its a loan or what

Dezyboy2, we have enough squad depth. Neither Ibe nor Origi will make the match day squad when all the front line players are fit. Sturridge, Balo, Sterling, Markovic, Lallana will definitely be ahead of them in the pecking order and i have not even included Lambert and Borini in that list. There are too many players at the club with no purpose served whatsoever. If the club can get rid of Lambert and one of Borini or Balo now, then yes, i would be happy to see Origi and Ibe recalled otherwise its a lose-lose situation for all parties involved.

Buzzer i'd like to think we would bring them back to play them not to play under 21 football
Doubt they'll be brought back to not play

5.) 15 Jan 2015
I agree with buzzer, I really don't see how ibe is going to get the playing time with what we currently have at the club.

Do any of the eds think its a good decision bringing him back

{Ed001's Note - so long as he plays, yes.}

I have to say when I have watched Ibe at derby (early saturday kick offs etc) I felt he needed to play for a better team. on a multitude of occasions he's looking for a run into the space and they aren't giving it, or he's making a 20 yard sprint to draw away a defender for a clear path for the striker and he passes it out wide. I don't think any of the Derby players are on his wavelength at all. He's looking 3 moves ahead of their 1. He often passes it to Will Hughes, I'm guessing so that will can pick out a pass to him going forward.

If we're bringing him back to play him, or put him on loan somewhere else I am happy. If it's the bench though, I feel he might as well stay at Derby, but I'm not seeing any progression from what I saw in friendlies apart from the realisation maybe that he can't beat everyman
