How does everyone think we should line up against Bolton? Biggest question for me is in central midfield. Obviously we need Lucas and Hendo against Chelsea, but I worry that any other combination against Bolton and we will lose momentum. Need for fresh legs will likely override this so in that case, I think we should overload the midfield with Allen/Gerrard/Rossiter and hope Ballotelli can find his shooting boots.

If we want to keep possession, move the ball forward with both pace and reason then leave Allen out.
If want a scrappy game of losing easy possession, being bullied off the ball and short sideways passes of 5yrds maximum, then yes play Allen.

Rather see Gerrard and Rossiter with Can replacing a tiring Stevie around 70mins. Have Lovren take Cans RCB spot unless Lloyd Jones could be given a game.

Omega , Lloyd Jones is playing for Cheltenham at home to Luton on Saturday afternoon along with the other two LFC loanees .

Surly dropping Can after some decent performances and bringing in someone from the youth set up ahead of him would be a knock to his confidence. I understand the need to bring the youth through but surly you don't do it at the expense of another young player who on form deserves his place in the side.
