Question for ED001 if possible:

With Sturridge out do you think there is anyone in the youth or reserve teams which we could give a chance? I'd really hate to see us spend another 20m in the summer on a player who won't fit in or provide what we are looking for.

Surely with robbie helping out our youth strikers should be dynamite?

2/3 years top young imo. I think vietto or a striker of the same elk needs to be the priority this summer

Sinclair is on loan at wigan and on his first game he was a sub and his second he didn't make the match day squad but hey having done so well on loan so far let's throw him in at the deep end. Give Borini or balotelli a go it might add a million to their price if they do half well

If Sinclair was patrick bamford then I'd completely agree with ed001 btw I just think it's been shown Sinclair isn't up to it right now

He is better than Bamford from what I have seen.
Miles better.
Only my opinion though and I hate slating young players. and Bamford has done well at Middlesborugh.

Miles better than bamford based on what exactly? One is the top scorer for one one the best sides in the championship and the other didn't make the squad for one of the lower teams in the championship in their last game. One has scored goals in men's football one hasn't. One has done very well for u18, 19 & 21s but has barely played 45mins men's football. Bamford is undoubtably the better player right now perhaps Sinclair has better potential though

What does that matter, Sinclair has only just joined Wigan.
How can you judge them based on selection anyway?
Pardew picked Hayden Mullins over Macherano at West Ham.
That makes him better than Mascherano by your logic!!
