You can feel the petulance on the site tonight, so many entitled opinions throwing the towel in, 'whats the point in trying if city are just going to keep winning'? Grow up lads and ask yourself what makes a champion.

I have a bit of sympathy for it, tbh. In terms of points we're having our best domestic season ever and it still might not be enough. 97 points and second, which is possible, would be nothing short of sickening.

That being said, no matter what City do, Klopp's not going to chuck the towel in until the last day and neither are the lads (they've been bloody brilliant), so neither have I.

And do you know what, if City do have a perfect run in, which is by no means guaranteed, we'll be still be here next season and will be the only team that can stop them from going three on the bounce.

All's we can do is keep making city have to win, and take it to the last minute of the last match.

Citeh are going to crack.

The waiting for it to happen is so hard to take but it’s going to happen.

It could be United who have to put some effort in on Wednesday after their horror slow today

Burnley could do them next weekend or it could be Vardy on the counter.

It will all be over before we play the Wolves game which will be the best day ever,

Then we can party until we get ready to go to Madrid.

At the heart of the title race, in the Semi's of the Champions League - who wouldn't of taken this at the start of the season?

I often agree with you SR, but if we finish 2nd with 97 points i honestly wouldn’t federal sickened. If we finished 2nd with 77 points and city won it with 78 then yeah, I might do. But 97 points, in all honesty there’s not a lot more you can do or it feel like a missed opportunity.

SR, I have made my peace with the fact that we could get 97 point and not win the PL. Maybe it is high time the moaners and bottlers on here, should do the same. And one last point. If the players and manager had given up, saying "What's the point of winning games if City keep winning", we would NOT be where we are right now BUT hey who cares, right? As long as they get to moan and spout self-entitled and petulant rants (as if any LFC fan as anything to be self-entitled about with our poor record in the PL) as if the rest of us can't do that, then all is well.

Well I for one, will be delighted if we are still in it on the last day.

The reality is that City don’t look like losing, mainly because no one looks like they want to give them a game and therefore the reality is that for all that we might win all our remaining games, it will in all probability, be utterly futile. However, Everton humping United 4-0 might be the catalyst for United going for a result in midweek, a la PSG, against City. I’m still of the opinion that it’s City that will win the title, however Everton may well have added an interesting twist.

All we can do as fans is support the team till the last second of the last game and enjoy the ride its citys to loose but we can make it as difficult as possible for them hopefully the have one slip and we clinch it but if not we should still be proud of the red men.

Spot on, Berg469 and Langland. The only thing I truly hope for is that we go into the final day vs Wolves, knowing a win will get us the elusive PL title. Here's to hoping.
