When I hear Barcelona fans booing their team off and also Arsenal fans booing their captain off, it reminds me what excellent support the fans give our team at the games. Yes I'm aware their are LFC followers who are plonkers, but it seems that those who attend the games continue to support the club through the ups and downs.

I was at the Barcelona game last night and they were awful. But in general the support for them was very good, I've actually been to games where they have played better and got a result and had less support. I didn't hear any booing and if anything most noise at the end of the game came from slavia Prague fans cheering on their team.

I have to say I have never heard Liverpool fans boo the team at a match or even on TV, never mind how difficult it has been in the past.

I also felt quite sorry for Xhaka the other day. He might not be the greatest player but its the manager who picks him and thinks he's good enough. Booing your own players isn't going to help, yet Xhaka gets criticised for his reaction, which is quite normal in my opinion.

Some booed Lucas Levia when he came on as a sub.

I heard a fair few groans during the Hodgson era Irish mate.

At one point towards the end of his tenure, there were blacks and blocks of empty seats in the Anfield road end, the support certainly dwindled. In the years I’ve been going, I’ve never seen so many empty seats as under Hodgson.

We are not perfect fans and there has been boos for numerous players and managers over the last 30 years.
Lucus el Haji diof Moreno Mingo spring to mind.
