Where if any where do you think Liverpool could improve, players and tactics. I’d love to get everyone’s opinion actually.

{Ed001's Note - set piece defending. Virgil gets his head to almost everything, he is like a Jedi drawing the ball to where he is waiting for it, but the rest of the team need to improve their marking and positioning and stop relying on him.}

I agree Ed, we gave Wolves two free kicks high up om Trents side, and I think our line was too high when defending same free s, and Wolves nearly caught us out on the second one .

{Ed001's Note - it just feels like we are very reliant on Virgil to head it out and if he doesn't we are in trouble. Luckily he is that good he almost always gets to it.}

Everyone should be man to man, except Virgil who should be zonal. His zone would be large though - at least half a pitch.

We seem to be ok on the first ball in but after it’s cleared it’s then we are vulnerable. We seem so preoccupied with getting out and breaking that we don’t pick up properly.
It’s nitpicking as this team is immense but if there is one slight weakness that is it as far as I can see.

I agree, virg clears everything that we tend to not notice that we are exposed when others are needed to defend in dangerous areas where VVD isn't around. One player actually I think is surprisingly good but never gains enough praise for defending aggressively in front of our goal is bobby firmino, he actually wins some crucial duels where he looks like being 2nd best but his timing is top class when attacking the ball in defending set piece . Anyone else notice how good he is?
