Love these, Ed. Please keep them coming.
Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - cheers mate, will do.}

Second that ed, really great read. Wouldn’t mind a few positional “of all time” lists. Cos I doubt you are busy.

{Ed001's Note - funny you should say that, but I was thinking that I would do all-time lists once I got through the positions. That is why I have been putting them out more often. Before I was doing it slowly so that by the time I got through and went back to the start the list would have time to change.}

If Bayern can have two left backs in the top 4 I’m arguing a place for our very own James Milner based on that one goal clearance yesterday.

Ah cool, I’m looking forward mate.

{Ed001's Note - it was good you suggested it as I was running out of things to do....}

Well yeah, I can’t imagine you do much these days ed, you really should try make yourself busy mate. It’s good for the soul 😉. I’m sure if everybody suddenly starts posting questions and requests that’ll make your day. Me first so- ed, what’s up with Shaqiri? Should we bring back Coutinho and Suarez? Can you do a player profile on bray wanderers legend Jason Byrne? I’ll expect all answered by evenings end. Cheers mate!

{Ed001's Note - thanks mate. I was worried I might have time to sleep this week, but you have fixed that for me.}

I agree with myself Ed1 mate, that'd be a great read.

{Ed001's Note - that's not like you to agree with yourself.}

Ed 1, do you remember Leonardo playing left back for Brazil in World Cup 94? He got banned for a horrendous elbow to an opponents face but before that he was unbelievable! Never seen anything like it since. He was really a number 10 but couldn't force his way into the midfield or attack as Brazil were so strong at the time!

{Ed001's Note - yeah I do remember that. It is probably the main memory I have of that tournament to be honest. He just lost the plot. It just shows how attacking, in theory, Brazil intended to be, though it never seemed to work like that.}

I remember that 1994 WC very well. One of the best I ever watched and I watched the round of 16 game where Leonardo (a midfielder playing LWB) elbowed USA's Tab Ramos who fell to the ground like he was having a seizure, such was the viciousness of the elbow.

Brazil used it's FB's the same way we use ours now cos their midfield was bereft of any creativity BUT that team tho victorious, is classed in Brazil as one of the most defensive teams they have ever produced. well, until Dunga (who played in the 1994 WC) gave us the 2010 team that only played with 3 offensive players in Kaka, Robinho and Lewis Fabiano.

Robbo second, seriously? Pure comedy gold, how you get away with writing these things i'll never know, ha ha.

Hi Ed, sorry this came a bit late but didn’t have a window to write this when I was going through the list. Alex Telles, not good? Would you think he’s able to fit in our style?

{Ed001's Note - very good going forward but awful defensively. It would be giving opponents a real weak point to attack.}

I see. Yeah he looks very good going forward, think he got a few motm awards or something with his contributions up top. Do you think his defensive side can be worked on by the coaching staff?

{Ed001's Note - he is 27 or so, I think it is a bit late for that now.}
