Ed002 can I ask for you're opinion on what you would do with this season as in void or just wait till and play the remainder of the games at later date. maybe cancel euros and complete season in the summer instead if applicable. I know it's tough to second guess what's happening with this virus 🦠. just curious on you're thoughts. I promise not to get angry if you upset us Liverpool supporters 😜.

{Ed002's Note - Everyone wants it completed. UEFA has to account for the status in different countries but will not cancel the Euros just to please Liverpool fans - although I expect they will be cancelled in any case. If the EPL could be completed by playing two games a week from say, late May, that works.}

As a matter of interest Ed, what was the precedent of the league being prematurely halted that you mentioned please?

Spot on, Ed02. I think the Euros will be postponed till next summer even tho UEFA may still be trying to fit it in. Playing two games a week should football come back could do the trick as I was thinking about that option myself.

The 39/ 40 season was abandoned 3 games into the season. I assume most footballers were conscripted into the army, many of which will have not come home.
