There are reports that with Lloris Karuis' loan ending with Basiktas, they are looking to sign Joe Hart, who will be a free agent at the end of the season.

Surely Karius can't have has such a bad loan spell that they'd turn to Joe Hartinstead of signing Karuis permanently? That's a real sign of bad times.

I gather his spell over there has been a mixed bag. Makes good saves, decent in 1v1s and good with his feet, and then peppers it all with some bizarre errors.

I think the bloke just doesn't concentrate properly in games or something.

We could sell him Everton, maybe? He'd be Or would that be too cruel to him?

Bear in mind too that Karius' agreed fee is reported at £9.5m, and given our recent record on pricing our players, I doubt we'll shift much on it. That's a lot for a bloke who's as likely to make a top quality save as he is to come flying 25 yards out of his goal to cut out a pass, and miss both the ball and the opposition forward.

I have been trying to keep an eye on our loans out and karius by all accounts has had a mixed bag. A blinder followed by a howler and has in public blamed his bad performances on the concussion and bright lights in Turkey. I'm not naive so I know he has no future at liverpool. Bit I wish him well elsewhere. I hope his time with us doesn't impact his career negatively and he gets his act together because imo he spends too much time on social media.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'm perfectly aware that his loan spell has been a mixed bag. What does surprise me though is that they are turning their attention to Joe Hart as a replacement.

Surely there are better goalkeepers in their twilight years that they could attract?

{Ed025's Note - joe hart is bloody awful EP but he is still an upgrade on karius the clown, mind you so would a bag of cement.. :)

Ed25, I know Karius was poor but compared to a bag of cement? You mean a bag of cement like Jordan Pickford who leads the PL in errors committed this season? You can find a decent mashup of his blunders on youtube, man. Brilliant.

{Ed025's Note - i gave up defending pickford a long time ago RM, he is a terible keeper...still miles better than karius though mate..
