The league was won Tristan. I'd prefer to win it too but if the season is ended, the league should be awarded IMO.

I think we all would want to win the title on the pitch.

However, I'd imagine the players wouldn't mind if they were seen as champions in the history books.

This is out of their hands, all of our hands, but to suggest we should just flippantly say, no thanks to any 'title' I can't agree with.

This whole situation is far bigger then all of us but I'm of the view the players/ staff deserve to be called PL champions 19/ 20. Some may view it has tainted but all the more motivation to prove everyone wrong next year.

Of course if hendo came out and said he and the boys talked and didn't want it as they didn't personally get over the line then I would completely back them.

Did PSG ask the french football association for them to be awarded the title and then all teams vote? Or have I got it wrong and it’s sorted differently over there. ? Sorry if I’m being naive Ed’s.

I think confusion lies with some tabloids confirming Liverpool would be crowned champions in every possible conclusion, except voiding.

I'm surprised some journo's aren't aware of how it actually works.

No way they will ask them Ed if they no there will be an issue mate, it will be embarrassing. No way we are awarded it by the PL, so that’s that seems pretty simple. We won’t be winning the league anytime soon chaps.

My way of patching this up would be ask, as that’s what we will need to do for the discussion to start, and be humble, having 19 teams potentially say yes would be a huge honour imo. Then put forward that no more football should be played until August/ September. Two up, no relegation, then 5 down next year to even it out. European places as is, subject to city’s ban. Remove ourselves from getting city’s ban pushed through, it doesn’t and shouldn’t effect us. Then begin to clean up our act in dealing with clubs. We were two wins away from 19 then we should set the example as the best team on the pitch and try be the best off it to.

Cardiff Red I think Ed means ya can be done as in we could ask for it if which would then go to the vote, that will then be the ultimate embarrassment as all the clubs we have done the dirty on in the past won’t vote for us. We then don’t get the title and have the embarrassment of other clubs mocking us for even asking. It’s the only chance we have it seems mate but we won’t ask for the reasons explained.

If that is the case Daretodream then so be it but at least it will be clear that it is a form of retribution and not because the club doesn't deserve the title.
This by no means takes away from Liverpool's behaviour one iota, merely (again) pointing out that it won't make these clubs any better in my opinion.
