Loving the comparisons Ed thanks. Was wondering though if you could do one on Mbappe vs Brazilian Ronaldo at 21 years old? Or even I would just like to hear your views on them, Ronaldo in my mind is arguably the best centre forward of all time. Mbappe seems to have it all and only time will tell but would love to get your views if you have the time.

{Ed001's Note - that is a good one that, I have added it to the list. I had never really thought of that comparison before, it has always been Henry that Mbappe gets compared to. Now you have said it, The Ronaldo seems a much better fit.}

Looking forward to your comparison, Ed01. Having watched Ronaldo at age 21 (Barca and Inter) and Mbappe of now, there is NO contest, IMO. Ronaldo, all day long.

Ronaldo was a true force of nature at that age. His then nickname was ET (The Extra Terrestrial) for a reason at the time.

Absolutely, Ed01. Mbappe is special and WILL be great, IMO. I read somewhere that when he was a little kid, he was literally taking the mick out of the other kids and even then, it was clear that he was way ahead of his time.

I also saw a few years ago (while at the Monaco academy) a report where allegedly Man City had made a 40m euro bid for Mbappe when he was around 15 or so.

Yeah the kid is special as well BUT forgive me Ed01, Ronaldo was something no one had ever seen before during that time. Jose still says till this day (I think till last week) that Ronaldo was and still remains the best player he has very seen when he was an assistant to the great Bobby Robson at Barca.

{Ed001's Note - I am not arguing, Ronaldo is the best out and out striker I have ever seen too. Just saying Mbappe deserves to be compared at those ages as he is also special and there is no bigger compliment I can pay him.}

I wasn't arguing either, Ed01. Mbappe can be comaprared with Ronaldo at this specific age, of course and I'm looking forward to reading your article about it. Was just making a point.
