I was 25 last time we won it. I honestly thought it would never happen again in my lifetime. Especially when Hodgson came in. We were buying average players for so many years with only one or two world class players at the club for so long, and average managers. All change now
Unbelievably happy now. Well done to LFC.

Big up to the OP and to many others who thought us winning the title would never happen again. I can feel why one would think that if you consider all the massive mistakes, screw-ups and dreadful decisions that have been made over easily 20 of those 30 years.

I'm just happy for people like the OP and esp. the younger generation whow no longer have to be told that "You've never seen LFC win the league" or "You never seen LFC win the Premier League". That's over now and the monkey is off our backs. The weight of 30 years of winless seasons (league-wise) has been dumped into the deepest depths of The Mersey and long may it stay there. YNWA!

Great teams do great things, this liverpool team is doing great things and also historic we are making our own history we are lucky too be witnessing this amazing team, never mind the trophies, the individual games from dortmund at home to Barcelona at home to man city to bayern the list goes on and on a catalogue of legendary nights that fans around the world have witnessed also rival fans can't deny this .

Spot on, Hailstones. We are witnessing greatness before our very eyes in real time. And believe me, the rival fans know it and while some acknowledge this, others don't want to and their bitterness is palpable in their utterances. In any case, not arsed about what a rival/ hater got to say about LFC. Didn't care when we were crap for years and I definitely don't now. This is bout us now. Drink It In, lads!

When we were doing so brilliantly in the 60s 70s and 80s I think a lot of us got complacent, thought it would go on and on. We moaned about players, as ever, but really not being at the very top never entered our minds. Then came the long years in the wilderness. 01 was great, 05 and then number 6 was brilliant, but we all knew it was the league that really showed the true measure of great teams. And now this, record breaking and delightful, led by a real character who would have given Shanks a run for his money. Couldn’t be happier, football wise, and long May it continue. Thanks players, owners and of course Jurgen.
YNWA.

Many of us were doubters. Many. That's why Klopp is so so important. He recognized that lack of belief immediately and said what was required to turn the team's fortunes around. Belief and believers. And that has happened. Of course, no one thing can institute change. Ir's always a combination of factors and then everything had to fall in place. And that happened too.
