Ed1 I think Bobby is a great player the only thing is do you wish he would pull the trigger a bit more?

{Ed001's Note - no player is perfect, there is always something to improve, but I don't see that as the problem. Last season he had a fair bit of bad luck with the shots he did take having deflections or hitting posts etc. I would like to see him get on the end of headers more personally as he is good in the air.}

I agree ed01, I was surprised that he hasn't always been a cf, because he has a cf face, cheekbones battered etc. Great in the air, perfect with Robbo and trent.

Bobby was awesome yesterday. There is nobody who can do what he offers us. He can improve on taking shots but he is so selfless because he is always looking for Salah and Mane.

I think a few more games and our front 3 will be on another level.

Decelticon - I love bobby but he was awful yesterday. Hopefully just rust like many others who played. Gets hoping he bangs in another 20+ season.

Bobbie did not play well yesterday cos IMO, he is lacking confidence in front of goal. This seems to be affecting his normally phenomenal decision-making. He does not seem to know whether to shoot or play someone in. The hope is that Bobbie can get his mojo back quickly cos he is a phenomenal player.

I like Bobby and have praised him many times. And will do so again.

But I don't like the cliche of saying he hit the post and was unlucky.

Roberto Baggio once said (after hitting the post three times) "if I hit the post it's because I didn't aim at the goal. Its not bad luck, its bad technique"

Bobby doesn't really need to score because he provides a wide variety of other things to the team which are more important. He had a bad game yesterday, struggled to do things he normally does easily. It's first game back, I'm sure it won't last.
