Who'd you keep and why? Brewster or Origi.

{Ed0666's Note - neither because it’s time to move on.

I took dog abuse for saying a few truths about origi the other week. yesterday proved why I was right about him. He is at David Ngog levels. The team has moved ten levels up and Origi is still stagnated there. Can't believe the lad doesn't want a move. He is never pushing Bobby, Minamino, or even the next guy to break from the academy in the future. A clear misfit in a team that played some brilliant interchanging football yesterday.

Can’t believe I’m agreeing with Harry., though I’d probably slightly less harsh.

You get abuse because you are so disrespectful to an LFC player Harry.

There are many of us who accept we’ve beyond Divock, but you can keep it classy when saying so. Also comparing him to David Ngog is a astounding exaggeration mate.

He’s been a decent servant to the club, scored some important goals and never complained. But yes, it’s time for him to move on.

no way am I having he is at ngog level, absolute rubbish,
yep he has not progressed as we liked and hoped he would
but this guy scored and won us numerous big games and should be respected for that
yep he should leave for his own sake but don't disrespect the fella by talking rubbish come on now mate.

I think he deserves more respect.
He played not a small part in our successful season.

Origi just has the habit and mentality to turn up in the most tense moments. The first time I saw him he was playing exceptionally in the 2014 World Cup as a 20 year old. We can rely on him to make a difference when we need him most in high stakes games. He's like the exact inverse of Raheem Sterling - doesn't do much in easier games but turns up on the biggest occasions. He's non-HG so that counts against him, but I'd happily keep him instead of Shaqiri.

Probably your worst post yet Harry. Disrespect at the highest level. City won last night, you sure you don't want to go back to them?

He'll always be remembered for the goals he scored in big games for the club and rightly so. But the man needs to move on for himself and his own career.

I'd rather keep origi, I really like and rate the lad. People are quick to forget he barely plays but when he does, how many times has he scored important goals for us? He can't play a lot because our front three are that good but IF he was given more regular playing time I have no doubt we'd all be really impressed. Having said that you have to consider what's good for the player, he isn't getting many minutes and isn't likely to anytime soon, if I'm Origi I'd want to be out. The best move Imo is to cash in on him and let him go and enjoy his career elsewhere.

Watch him shine though when he leaves, I really see something in him. He just needs to be playing often to show it.

Yeah Harry the abuse wasn't for your opinion, it's for being such a disrespectful prick about it. Origi just doesn't fit our style of play for 90 minutes. His mind and feet aren't quick enough for our extremely fast intricate play, but he does have some very good attributes. I think he'd do very well in a team that has less possession and plays a more direct or counter-attacking type of game. Hopefully he and Grujic do enough against Lincoln and Arsenal in the next round to impress a scout and attract a suitor. Shaqiri almost certainly did already but personally I really want him to stay at least for one more season.

David Ngog level - perfect example of why you can't be taken seriously Harry, always to the extreme with your opinions.

Why are players either amazing or terrible?

It looks like we have outgrown Origi, we are now probably too good for him. David Ngog level, ridiculous comment, Origi is far better than that and deserves more respect.

I agree Salah, guy always does his best but our front 3 are simply on a far higher level.

Has a real knack of scoring for us too and I think he'll do well if he moves, but just do not like the disrespect he gets, it's actually well beyond disrespect and just pure vitriol.

You see this and the abuse young Williams took last night, despite winning the game by a country mile and just shake the head in bewilderment.

Y. N. W. A. used to really mean something, we're better than this.

Why doesn’t David Ngog get a bit of respect too as an ex-Liverpool player? Always tried his best and scored a few.
Origi is a superb player imo but doesn't have the right attributes for our current side. he's physical, good header, cracking accurate shot and a fair bit of pace. He would excell at a team which plays direct football with a big man up front. Completely convinced that if we let him go to another Premier League side he will make us regret it.

Origi has managed to score some excellent and vitally important goals on the biggest stage despite not being a natural fit for our system, or getting much game time to find any rythym. He may not be the quality of our front three, but that doesn’t make his contribution any less important and has been an important part of the reason we've gone on the incredible run of trophies over the last three seasons (eg the goal against Barcelona! )

That ability to come off the bench and score crucial goals is a talent that is not easily replaceable. Respect to the lad.

@IDreamofGini, did you regret us selling David Ngog? Did you think selling Ngog was a mistake?

I really like him. Total respect for what he's done for lfc. Harry, you're bang out of order.

But tactically. We have taki, who plays in the middle. And jota who can play centrally but can also play, and is probably more natural on the wing, which is divs position lately. But, if you want 2 players for each position, that means 3 players to cover mane Bobby and salah. So jota mino and origi.
