Any abuse of neco Williams online is disgraceful, the lad is 19 and learning his trade he will make mistakes probably cos he is young and nervous not because he isdeliberately trying too fail . These fools aren't fans!

I agree, he's a kid learning his trade. He'll have good and bad days and mistakes will happen, that's how he'll learn.

I'd like to see if under l6 year olds were completely removed from twitter etc. How much the abuse would reduce. I would say dramatically. I think we will look back on this free reign of being able to abuse someone with your own identity hidden and think "what were we thinking". I think the whole thing is a joke. I will never ever use it.

Its not really the point if you have good or bad days. He can a thousand bad days, doesn't mean you should be open to abuse. If he has any sense or anyone else, he should shut down all his social media and do something else instead.

Fans are fickle, memories are short. And there's always a target picked for the week. Looks like it was Neco's turn. Once it was "BigDiv", now it's "GetOutDiv" . And the beat goes on.

Do posters really think these vile trolls are Liverpool fans, fickle or otherwise? Social media is full of the incontinent outpourings of twisted, puerile minds and any reasonable and sensible person should avoid it.

We have the best squad in world football and as far as I can tell they are all exceedingly professional gentlemen, but a small portion of our fans are the worst in world football. Abusing a 19 year old that just won 7-2.

Brings me back to the times when lovren had that horror show for 30 mins against spurs and the abuse and threats he faced from social media. Lovren is known to be a hardened character who's faced many tough challenges from his childhood and upbringing to the criticism he faces on the pitch. He could move past that but neco Williams is just a kid who has yet to learn how to live in the spotlight. Stuff like that can really affect a kid at his stage of becoming a footballer. Shocking.

Spot on Davey. I don't have facebook/ twitter/ instagram. Im older so probably a bit old fashioned. These people feel safe in their dark, dingy, under stairs cupboard. They think that they are entitled to say these things as they are 'supporters'.

The potential damage to all players mental state is unmeasurable. If someone tells you something often enough you might start to beleive it.

oh i pine for the Saturdays at 5 30 when the only way you could get match reports quickly was to buy the 'Football Pink' instead of pisting 2 mins after a game and always complaining because your team let in 2 goals and we only scored 7.

Do these morons remember not so long ago that TAA was not so great at defending. Look how he has improved. The same will happen with Young Neco, with good coaching, experiance, and a little time.

This site is the only online input i do. You guys ST/ southern red / salah etc along with the eds whose knowledge and humour (ed25) make me check this site every few hours.

But if i saw a lot of player trashing i would stop visiting.

There, rant over.
