Morning eds
You know I love everything about this site including the live chat it’s like watching the game and chatting with family BUT I think the live chat needs a bit more policing. Don’t get me wrong I love a bit of banter and people (including me) can get carried away. Yesterday there was someone wishing players got C.V.. With everything going on in the world today this is unacceptable!

Ed0025 I know in the past mate we had certain longtime trusted posters policing it. Pretty sure Benny baller was one and maybe Den. Maybe something you can look at again because the live chat can be fun as long as no one crosses the line.

It's actually very tricky being on the live chat. I used to be a regular on and off, over the years, but I've stopped. Had enough. There is sporadic abuse of players with vile language, of fellow chatters and even the Eds. I responded to some abuse against chatters and Eds just recently, and ended up not being able to post on here for about 2-3 weeks (I'm guessing it was a ban) . It's not worth it, so I'm staying off, even though I miss it during the games. If memory serves me right, Berg had last volunteered to police the live chat, but have no idea if he's still doing it.

You and me both ArAy. I used to love doing the live chat during the match and especially chatting with you on those, but it's gotten to where I don't go on there any longer.

It will always be difficult to police as its fairly easy to access, set up a username and your in.

Problem with live is there is very little time between what you have typed and sent to register it in your brain and realise it possibly shouldn't be said.

I'd like to think whoever wished C. V. on anyone realised after they shouldn't.

Some go in to stir, some are probably young and we all said stupid stuff when we are young. But 95% of it is in good taste and a good tool for the website.

That'd be a shame ed025, I do love the live chat platform.

If I could dedicate the time I'd offer to help but I'm not sure I'd be the best judge or be able to commit the time every week. The baby dictates my days at the minute 😂.
